Abstract

Dukungan orang tua adalah salah satu poin penting dalam berjalannya program di sekolah. Pentingnya dukungan orang tua yang positif dan dapat sejalan dengan program di sekolah sangatlah dibutuhkan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data konkret bentuk dukungan orang tua peserta didik tunagrahita sedang tingkat Sekolah Dasar pada program kesehatan reproduksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SLB C Asih Manunggal, penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskripif kuantitatif dengan alat pengumpul data berupa wawancara yang melibatkan 7 orang ibu dari peserta didik tunagrahita sedang tingkat Sekolah Dasar sebagai subjek. Adapun dukungan yang dikaji dibagi menjadi empat aspek dukungan, yaitu: emosional, instrumental, informasional, dan sosial. Hasil data konkret menemukan adanya jawaban yang beragam dari para subjek pada beberapa indikator, yaitu pada dukungan emosional terdapat 100% jawaban penting dalam indikator pendapat orang tua terhadap pentingnya kehadiran dan partisipasi, pada dukungan instrumental terdapat 86% menjawab menggunakan modul untuk melaksanakan tindak lanjut, pada dukungan informasional terdapat 57% mengatakan hanya kemajuan saja yang penting untuk disampaikan, lalu pada dukungan sosial terdapat 71% menjawab mereka tidak aktif. Keberagaman jawaban dapat dilihat lebih lanjut dalam penelitian ini. Kata kunci: Ibu dari peserta didik tunagrahita sedang, sekolah dasar, dukungan orang tua, Program Kesehatan Reproduksi Parental support is one of the important points in the running of the program at school. The importance of positive parental support that is in line with school programs is really needed. This study aims to obtain concrete data on the form of support from parents of elementary school level mentally retarded students in the reproductive health program. This research was carried out at SLB C Asih Manunggal, this research is quantitative descriptive research using data collection tools in the form of interviews involving 7 mothers of moderately mentally retarded students at elementary school level as subjects. The support studied is divided into four aspects of support, namely: emotional, instrumental, informational, and social. The results of the concrete data found that there were various answers from the subjects on several indicators, namely on emotional support there were 100% subject answers ‘important’ in the indicator of parental opinion on the importance of presence and participation, on instrumental support there were 86% answers using modules to carry out follow-up, in informational support there were 57% said that only progress was important to convey, then in social support there were 71% answered that they were not active.
