Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of Management Information System (MIS) based on Online Academic Information System (OASIS) in enhancing the effectiveness of teaching and learning activities, as well as administrative processes at the School of Teacher Education and Educational Sciences (STKIP) Arrahmaniyah. The primary objective of the research is to analyze how the utilization of this system influences the teaching and learning processes, as well as the administrative management within the institution. A qualitative approach method is employed to collect data through interviews, observations, and document analyses. The research findings reveal that the implementation of OASIS-based MIS has yielded positive impacts, including improved efficiency in schedule management, student data administration, and academic reporting. The system has also heightened the connectivity among students, faculty members, and administrative personnel. Despite challenges related to initial adaptation and training, the long-term benefits of this system are widely acknowledged. This study contributes to a deeper comprehension of technology implementation in higher education contexts and offers insights to similar institutions seeking to adopt analogous systems.
