Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami dan mengaplikasikan pemrosesan data spasial, terutama dalam pengolahan citra foto pada pembelajaran penginderaan jauh. Metode pembelajaran yang konvensional, serta kurangnya penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran geografi, membuat siswa kurang tertarik dan termotivasi untuk belajar yang berdampak pada hasil belajar yang kurang memuaskan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut dan menguji efektivitas metode demonstrasi berbantuan aplikasi Agisoft Metashape dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Geografi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan perbedaan hasil belajar pada ranah kognitif melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran demonstrasi berbantuan aplikasi Agisoft Metashape. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen desain non equivalent control group design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-7 mewakili kelas kontrol dan kelas X-8 mewakili kelas eksperimen di SMAN 1 Bandung. Data dikumpulkan melalui pre-posttest menggunakan tes bentuk soal pilihan ganda yang berisikan indikator dari hasil belajar ranah kognitif yang terdiri dari aspek memahami (C2), menerapkan (C3), menganalisis (C4). Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan test non-parametrik (Mann Whitney U Test). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui hasil pre-posttest (gain), dimana kelas eksperimen memperoleh skor gain yang lebih tinggi pada segala aspek dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode demonstrasi berbantuan aplikasi Agisoft Metashape lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Geografi kelas X di SMAN 1 Bandung. This research is motivated by the fact that students have difficulty in understanding and applying spatial data processing, especially in image processing in remote sensing learning. Conventional learning methods, as well as the lack of use of technology in geography learning, make students less interested and motivated to learn which has an impact on unsatisfactory learning outcomes. Thus, this study was conducted to overcome these challenges and test the effectiveness of the demonstration method assisted by the Agisoft Metashape application in improving student learning outcomes in Geography subjects. The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the differences in learning outcomes in the cognitive domain through the application of the demonstration learning method assisted by Agisoft Metashape application. The method used is a quasi-experimental design of non-equivalent control group design. The samples in this study were students of class X-7 and class X-8 at SMAN 1 Bandung. Data were collected through pre-posttest using multiple choice questions test. Data analysis was carried out using non-parametric tests (Mann Whitney U Test). The results of the analysis show that there are differences in learning outcomes between the control class and the experimental class. This is evidenced by the results of the pre-posttest (gain), where the experimental class obtained a higher gain score in all aspects compared to the control class. The concluded that the application of the demonstration method assisted by the Agisoft Metashape application is more effective in improving student learning outcomes in Geography class X at SMAN 1 Bandung.
