Abstract
Jaipongan merupakan tarian yang memiliki ide atau tema garap yang sangat beragam baik pada saat kamari (dulu) maupun kiwari (saat ini). Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan analisis bentuk busana Jaipongan dari Kamari dan Kiwari, bagaimana bentuk dan gaya busananya yang memiliki perbedaan di setiap tema tarian yang diciptakan serta bagaimana faktor yang mempengaruhi perbedaan tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analisis dan kajian ikonografi untuk pisau bedahnya. Dari hasil penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa gaya busana Jaipongan kamari bergaya klasik, sedangkan gaya busana Jaipongan kiwari lebih bergaya post-modern. Faktor historis, sosiologis dan pengaruh budaya baru menjadi faktor pengaruh perbedaan busana Jaipongan Kamari dan Kiwari. Jaipongan is a dance that has very diverse ideas or themes, both in the Kamari (past) and Kiwari (current) periods. The purpose of this writing is to reveal an analysis of the Jaipongan Kamari and Kiwari fashion forms, how the shapes and patterns of clothing differ in each dance theme created, and what factors influence these differences. This research is qualitative research with descriptive analysis methods and iconographic studies with a scalpel. From the research results, it can be seen that Jaipongan Kamari's fashion style is classic, while Jaipongan Kiwari's fashion style is more post-modern. Historical factors, sociology, and new cultural influences are factors that influence the differences in Jaipongan Kamari and Kiwari clothing.
