Abstract

Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah kinerja guru pada SMK Negeri 11 Bandung yang belum optimal. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan hasil penilaian kinerja guru melalui matriks kinerja yang belum mencapai standar kinerja yang telah ditentukan. Salah satu hal yang menyebabkan rendahnya nilai tersebut adalah kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kompetensi pedagogik guru, gambaran kompetensi profesional guru, gambaran tingkat kinerja guru, serta adakah pengaruh tingkat kompetensi pedagogik dan tingkat kompetensi profesional guru terhadap tingkat kinerja guru pada SMK Negeri 11 Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey eksplanasi. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket yang diperoleh dari 104 orang guru sebagai populasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji regresi ganda. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel berada pada kategori sedang. Data berdistribusi normal dan berpola linier. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa variabel kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional guru berpengaruh positif terhadap variabel kinerja guru pada SMK Negeri 11 Bandung. Akan tetapi, ada satu indikator penting yang harus segera diperbaiki pada variabel kompetensi pedagogik, yaitu indikator wawasan atau landasan. Indikator ini dapat diperbaiki guru dengan cara meningkatkan wawasan dan landasan mengajar dengan meningkatkan kompetensinya melalui lebih banyak membaca referensi buku pelajaran yang diampu, kursus bahasa inggris dan komputer serta seminar pendidikan.

The problem learned in this research was the unoptimality of teacher performance in SMKN 11 Bandung. The problem was indicated by the result of teacher performance assessment through matrix of performance that has yet achieved a given performance standard. One of the factor about value lowness was the unoptimality of pedagogic and professional competence. This research has a purpose to understand a description of teacher pedagogic competence level, teacher professional competence, and the influence of teacher pedagogic competence level to teacher professional competence in SMKN 11 Bandung. The research method applied in was explanation survey method. The data was gathered by using the questionnaire involved 104 teachers as the population. The technic of data analysis applied was dual regression test . The result of analysis showed that both of the variable was in medium category. The data has a normal distribution and has a linear pattern. Based on hypothesis test showed that pedagogic competence and teacher professional competence has a positive influence to the teacher performance variable. There is an important indicator that has to be refined soon on the pedagogic competence variable, there are insight and basic indicator. This indicator can be refined by the teacher through increasing insight and the basic of teaching, increase in competence through more reading from source lesson book, English course, computer course, and seminar of education.
