Abstract

The development of the antiradicalism value project learning model is a concrete manifestation of collaboration between the project approach and the value approach. The combination of project approach and value approach in the antiradicalism value project model is taken from each learning approach syntax. This research is based on the increasingly widespread spread of radicalism in the younger generation in the university environment and the absence of a special learning model that teaches and instills about the values of anti-radicalism in universities in strengthening the commitment of young citizens. Based on this, this study aims to develop a learning model of anti-radicalism value projects to strengthen the commitment of young citizens. The design of this research is research and development (R&D), which is an effort made to create or develop an effective learning model. Data collection techniques are carried out by distributing questionnaires, interviews, direct observations and documentation studies with hypothesis testing using classical assumption tests and simple linear regression tests as well as n-gain calculations in seeing differences in results from experimental classes and control classes. The results of data processing show that the hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is a significant relationship and influence between variable X, namely the anti-radicalism value project model, and variable Y, namely the commitment of young citizens. Meanwhile, the calculation results using n-gain score showed a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class, where the experimental class by applying the learning project model of antiradicalism values was able to increase the commitment of young citizens than the control class which only applied the conventional model.
