Abstract
Novel anak “Cihaya Metafisa: Sang Penjaga Citarum” merupakan upaya penulis untuk membantu memperbanyak sastra anak di Indonesia. Sekaligus bentuk pendidikan dalam pentingnya menjaga lingkungan alam. Secara keseluruhan, novel ini menceritakan kisah tokoh Cihaya yang harus menerima bahwa dirinya berbeda (spesial) dengan anak-anak pada umumnya. Dia harus menghadapi ancaman yang terjadi akibat perusakan yang dilakukan manusia terhadap lingkungan, khususnya Sungai Citarum. Alur cerita dalam novel ini berupa tahap awal (pengenalan), tahap tengah (konflik) dan tahap akhir (penutup). Teknik pengaluran dalam novel ini secara kronologis. Novel ini menggunakan sudut pandang orang pertama sebagai pelaku utama. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan Art Based Research yang memiliki beberapa tahapan, berupa perencanaan, pengumpulan data dan pembuatan karya seni dan penyuntingan. Hasil karya merupakan novel anak dengan judul “Cihaya Metafisa: Sang Penjaga Citarum” menggunakan teori Norton dalam penciptaannya. The children's novel "Cihaya Metafisa: Sang Penjaga Citarum" is the author's attempt to help multiply children's literature in Indonesia. It is also a form of education in the importance of protecting the natural environment. Overall, the novel tells the story of the character Cihaya who must accept that he is different (special) from other children. He has to face the threats that occur due to human destruction of the environment, especially the Citarum River. The storyline in this novel is in the form of an initial stage (introduction), middle stage (conflict) and final stage (conclusion). The channelling technique in this novel is chronological. The novel uses the first-person point of view as the main character. The method used is a qualitative method with an Art Based Research approach which has several stages, such as planning, data collection and art making and editing. The result of the work is a children's novel with the title "Cihaya Metafisa: Sang Penjaga Citarum" using Norton's theory in its creation.
