Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketersediaan bahan ajar keterampilan membaca bagi pemelajar BIPA di Jerman yang masih terbatas. Hasil sebaran angket dan wawancara terhadap pengajar BIPA di Jerman menunjukkan bahwa dibutuhkan suatu bahan ajar membaca yang disusun dengan mempertimbangkan karakteristik dan minat pemelajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar membaca berbasis pendekatan CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) bermuatan wawasan Nusantara bagi pemelajar BIPA Jerman tingkat menengah. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan studi dokumentasi, wawancara, dan penyebaran angket. Pada tahap awal penelitian disebarkan angket dan dilakukan wawancara kepada pengajar BIPA di Jerman serta analisis bahan ajar membaca untuk mengetahui profil kebutuhan bahan ajar. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dan dianalisis tersebut menjadi dasar untuk rancangan awal pengembangan produk bahan ajar. Selanjutnya, dilakukan penyusunan produk bahan ajar berbentuk buku teks elektronik yang terdiri atas 4 tema utama, yaitu geografi Indonesia, pariwisata Indonesia, makanan khas, dan rumah tradisional. Masing-masing tema terdiri atas dua teks, latihan, dan tugas aktivitas serta dilengkapi dengan gambar ilustrasi. Produk bahan yang telah selesai disusun kemudian divalidasi oleh para ahli. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa produk bahan ajar layak diujicobakan kepada pemelajar BIPA di Jerman. Hasil tahap uji coba menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan produk berada pada kategori “sangat baik”. Setelah itu, produk bahan ajar disebarluaskan kepada pengguna yang terdiri atas pengajar dan pemelajar BIPA di Jerman. Hasil penilaian pada tahap penyebaran menunjukkan bahwa produk bahan ajar memperoleh kategori “sangat baik”. This research was motivated by the limited availability of reading skills teaching materials for BIPA learners in Germany. The results of distributing questionnaires and interviews with BIPA teachers in Germany show that they need reading teaching materials that take into account the characteristics and interests of learners. This study aims to produce reading teaching materials based on the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) approach with Wawasan Nusantara for intermediate-level German BIPA learners. The research was conducted using the 4D method (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The data collection technique used in this study was through documentation studies, interviews, and questionnaires. In the early stages of the research, questionnaires were distributed and interviews were conducted with BIPA teachers in Germany as well as an analysis of reading teaching materials to find out the profile of the needs of teaching materials. The data that has been collected and analyzed forms the basis for the initial design of teaching material product development. Furthermore, the preparation of teaching material products in the form of electronic textbooks consisting of 4 main themes, namely Indonesian geography, Indonesian tourism, special foods, and traditional houses. Each theme consists of two authentic texts along with exercises and activity assignments and is equipped with illustrations. Material products that have been prepared are then validated by experts. The results of the validation show that the teaching material product is feasible to be tested on BIPA students in Germany. The results of the trial phase show that the feasibility of the product is in the "very good" category. After that, the teaching material products were disseminated to users consisting of BIPA teachers and students in Germany. The results of the assessment at the dissemination stage showed that the teaching material product received the "very good" category.
