Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas mengenai struktur cerita dan unsur antropologi sastra
dalam novel Burak Siluman karya Moh Ambri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah
untuk mendeskripsikan (1) tema, (2) fakta cerita, (3) sarana sastra, dan (4) unsur
antropologi sastra yang terdapat pada novel Burak Siluman karya Moh Ambri.
Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitis beserta
teknik studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) tema yang ditemukan
adalah Misteri Nyi Asmanah dinikahi Arjuna di alam jin, (2) fakta cerita pada
novel ini terdiri dari alur, tokoh, dan latar; alur yang digunakan adalah alur
campuran yang dipaparkan melalui enam episode; tokoh utama cerita yakni Nyi
Asmanah dengan tokoh tambahan sebanyak dua puluh dua orang; latar dalam
novel ini terbagi atas tiga bagian, yakni dua puluh Latar tempat, empat belas latar
waktu dan dua latar sosial. (3) sarana sastra dalam novel ini terdiri dari judul,
sudut pandang, dan gaya bahasa; judul Burak Siluman menggambarkan isi cerita
yang merujuk kepada buah hati dari Nyi Asmanah dan Dipati Anom yang dinamai
burak serta berwujud sebagai siluman; sudut pandang menggunakan metode orang
ketiga sebagai narator; gaya bahasa yang ditemukan pada novel Burak Siluman
ada enam jenis yakni personifikasi, litotes, hiperbola, metafora, simile, dan
pleonasme(4) unsur antropologi sastra mencakup masa lampau, kearifan lokal,
folklor (tradisi lisan dan sastra lisan), dan mitos. Kesimpulannya novel Burak
Siluman karya Moh Ambri memiliki struktur cerita yang lengkap dasn dibangun
atas unsur-unsur antropologi sastra. :
This study discusses the story structure and elements of literary anthropology in
the novel Burak Siluman by Moh Ambri. The purpose of this study is to describe
(1) themes, (2) story facts, (3) literary means, and (4) elements of literary
anthropology contained in Moh Ambri's Burak Siluman novel. The method used
in this research is analytical descriptive along with literature study techniques.
The results of this study are: (1) the theme found is the mystery of Nyi Asmanah
being married to Arjuna in the realm of the jinn, (2) the facts of the story in this
novel consist of plot, characters, and setting; the plot used is a mixed plot that is
presented through six episodes; the main character of the story, namely Nyi
Asmanah with twenty-two additional characters; The setting in this novel is
divided into three parts, namely twenty place settings, fourteen time settings and
two social settings. (3) literary means in this novel consist of title, point of view,
and style of language; the title Burak Siluman describes the contents of the story
which refers to the baby of Nyi Asmanah and Dipati Anom who is named burak
and has the form of a demon; point of view using the third person method as the
narrator; There are six types of language styles found in Burak Siluman's novel,
namely personification, litotes, hyperbole, metaphor, simile, and pleonasm (4)
elements of literary anthropology include the past, local wisdom, folklore (oral
traditions and oral literature), and myths. In conclusion, the Burak Siluman novel
by Moh Ambri has a complete story structure and is built on elements of literary
anthropology.
