Abstract
Kota Jakarta dikenal dengan kota yang erat kaitannya dengan peristiwa sejarah, maka dari itu tidak heran apabila wisata heritage menjadi salah satu opsi yang paling diminati disana. Walaupun begitu, menurut data yang ada, terdapat ulasan buruk pada salah satu daya tarik wisata heritage disana yakni Museum Sejarah Jakarta. Ulasan buruk tersebut menunjukkan bahwa MSJ tidak mampu memberikan kenyamanan berwisata, sedangkan hal tersebut dapat menghambat pembentukan place attachment, selain itu wisata heritage sangat berkaitan erat dengan authenticity, maka penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kedua variabel tersebut di MSJ. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan diolah dalam software IBM SPSS 25 untuk mengolah data dari 156 responden yang sudah pernah berkunjung ke MSJ pada periode waktu 2019 – 2021 dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi sederhana. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa authenticity memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap place attachment. The city of Jakarta is known for its close association with historical events; therefore, it is not surprising that heritage tourism is one of the most popular options there. However, according to available data, there are negative reviews about one of the heritage tourist attractions there, namely the Jakarta History Museum. These negative reviews indicate that the museum fails to provide a comfortable tourist experience, which can hinder the formation of place attachment. Additionally, heritage tourism is closely related to authenticity. Hence, this research was conducted to investigate the influence of these two variables at the Jakarta History Museum (MSJ). This study employed a quantitative approach and was processed using IBM SPSS 25 software to analyze data from 156 respondents who had visited MSJ between 2019 and 2021, using a simple regression analysis method. From the research results, it can be concluded that authenticity has a significant positive impact on place attachment.
