Abstract

SMK dituntut untuk menghasilkan lulusan unggul untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dunia kerja, industri, dan wirausaha. Tuntutan tersebut menjadikan lulusan SMK diharapkan dapat memenuhi tuntutan perkembangan zaman di abad 21, salah satunya dengan memiliki keterampilan 4C yang meliputi komunikasi (communication), kolaborasi (collaboration), berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah (critical thinking and problem solving), serta kreativitas dan inovasi (creativity and innovation). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan 4C peserta didik dengan diterapkannya model pembelajaran berbasis pemikiran desain (design thinking). Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kelas X APHP 1 SMKN PP Lembang dengan jumlah 15 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) sebanyak 3 siklus. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan tes, observasi, dan penilaian kreativitas hasil karya peserta didik. Keterampilan komunikasi dan kolaborasi meningkat pada setiap siklus dengan kategori ‘sangat baik’. Keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik meningkat pada setiap siklus dengan kategori ‘sedang’ berdasarkan uji N-Gain. Keterampilan kreativitas dan inovasi peserta didik mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklus dengan kategori keterampilan ‘kreatif’. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, model pembelajaran berbasis pemikiran desain (design thinking) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan 4C siswa SMKN PP Lembang. Vocational High School is required to produce superior graduates to fulfill the demands of workforce, industry, and entrepreneurship. So, the graduates of Vocational High School are expected to be able to meet the demands of 21st century, one of which is by having 4C skills which include communication, collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving, creativity and innovation. This study aims to determine the 4C skills of students by applying a learning model based on design thinking. The sample in this study was class X APHP 1 SMKN PP Lembang with a total of 15 people. The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK) as many as 3 cycles. Research data collection is carried out by testing, observation, and assessment of the creativity of students' work. Communication and collaboration skills improve with each cycle in the ‘excellent’ category. Students’ critical thinking skills improve in each cycle with ‘moderate’ categories based on the N-Gain test. The creativity and innovation skills of students increase in each cycle with category ‘creative’. The design thinking-based learning model can improve the 4C skills of SMKN PP Lembang students.
