Abstract

The independent curriculum as a new transformation is expected to make learning more relevant, in-depth and fun for students. Technology in developing teaching materials can be used by teachers to develop teaching materials according to the needs of different student learning styles. This study aims to develop the GEBBI application as a medium for exploring Indonesian language teaching materials for grade 4 elementary school in the independent curriculum, to determine product feasibility and product implementation. This research method uses the ADDIE design (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation). The analysis phase collects data regarding material content analysis, user requirements, software and hardware requirements. The design phase includes GBPM, GEBBI application flowcharts and design. The development stage uses Smart Apps Creator 3 to create GEBBI applications and validate material and media experts. The results of the validation by material experts showed that the percentage of the material validity value was 91.05% and the media was 95.8% including valid criteria, suitable for use without revision. The implementation and evaluation phase involved grade 4 elementary school teachers in the North Sumedang area as users of the GEBBI application. The results of the teacher's response were assessed based on three aspects 1) The ease aspect of getting a percentage score of 84% was included in the very good criteria 2) The need aspect getting a percentage score of 91.6% was included in the very good criteria 3) The benefit aspect getting a percentage value of 89.5% was included in the very good criteria.
