Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh durasi, atensi frekuensi, dan konten secara simultan pada terpaan tayangan “Podcast Happy Broken Family” terhadap perilaku anak broken home dalam menghadapi isu kesehatan mental. Tempat, waktu, dan partisipan penelitian adalah di media sosial Telegram, Juli – Agustus 2023 terhadap anggota grup Telegram "Penyintas Broken home" pada tayangan "Podcast Happy Broken Family". Hasil analisis data menunjukan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara terpaan tayangan podcast keluarga terhadap perilaku anak broken home dalam menghadapi isu kesehatan mental. Implikasi temuan ini memberi penekanan terhadap peran podcast sebagai media alternatif yang potensial dalam memberikan dukungan dan bimbingan terhadap anak-anak yang mengalami broken home dalam menghadapi tantangan kesehatan mental yang mungkin timbul akibat situasi rumit keluarga. Melalui penelitian ini, pemahaman mengenai interaksi media dengan faktor-faktor psikososial dalam konteks kesehatan mental anak-anak broken home semakin meningkat. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan perspektif baru mengenai peran media podcast, dan memberikan sumbangan konseptual terhadap pengembangan strategi intervensi yang lebih terarah dan efektif untuk mendukung kesehatan mental anak broken home. Kata Kunci: Terpaan Media, Tayangan Podcast, Keluarga Broken home, Isu Kesehatan Mental, Pendekatan Korelasional ABSTRACT This research aims to analyze the extent of the simultaneous influence of duration, frequency of attention, and content exposure to the "Podcast Happy Broken Family" on the behavior of children from broken homes in facing issues of mental health. The research was conducted on the social media platform Telegram, from July - August 2023, involving members of the "Survivors of Broken Home" Telegram group who were exposed to the "Podcast Happy Broken Family." The results of data analysis indicate a significant and positive relationship between exposure to family podcast content and the behavior of children from broken homes in dealing with mental health issues. The implications of these findings emphasize the potential role of podcasts as an alternative media in providing support and guidance to children experiencing broken homes when facing the challenges of mental health issues that may arise due to complex family situations. Through this research, understanding the interaction between media and psychosocial factors in the context of the mental health of children from broken homes is increasing. The conclusion of this research is to provide a new perspective on the role of podcast media and to contribute conceptually to the development of more targeted and effective intervention strategies to support the mental health of children from broken homes.
