Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan menulis teks narasi tema cita-citaku antara kelompok yang menggunakan metode brainwriting dengan kelompok yang tidak menggunakan metode brainwriting. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan populasi kelas V SDN 4 Sindangsari Kabupaten Garut sebanyak 34 Peserta didik, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel berupa sampel jenuh melalaui rincian kelas VA sebanyak 17 peserta didik sebagai kelompok ekseprimen dan kelas VB sebanyak 17 peserta didik sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar tes keterampilan menulis teks narasi tema cita-citaku. Uji validitas instrumen dilakukan dengan berkonsultasi dengan ahli (expert judgment). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan keterampilan menulis teks narasi tema cita-citaku antara kelompok eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran brainwriting, dengan kelompok kontrol yang tidak menggunakan metode barinwriting namun menggunakan metode konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dari kedua kelompok ditunjukkan dengan hasil analisis uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t data tes akhir (posttest) keterampilan menulis teks narasi tema cita-citaku kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001, artinya kurang dari 0,05 (0,001 < 0,05), serta diperoleh nilai t hitung 3.473 dan nilai t tabel 1.694. jadi, nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel ( 3.473 > 1.694), dan diperoleh nilai rata-rata atau mean pada posttest kelas eksperimen sebesar 11.12 dan 8.47 pada posttest kelas kontrol. Sehingga dapat dibuktikan bahwa metode brainwriting dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis peserta didik khusunya pada materi teks narasi di kelas V SDN 4 Sindangsari Kabupaten Garut This study aims to determine the differences in the skills of writing narrative texts on the theme of my ideals between groups that use the brainwriting method and groups that do not use the brainwriting method. This type of research was quasi-experimental with a population of class V SDN 4 Sindangsari Garut Regency with 34 students, with a sampling technique in the form of saturated samples through details of VA class of 17 students as the experimental group and 17 students in VB class as the control group. Data collection techniques in the form of tests. The research instrument used a writing skill test sheet of narrative text on the theme of my ideals. The validity test of the instrument was carried out in consultation with experts (expert judgment). The results showed that there were differences in the skills of writing narrative texts on the theme of my ideals between the experimental group which was treated using the brainwriting learning method, and the control group which did not use the barinwriting method but used the conventional method. The results of the study showed that there were significant differences between the two groups as indicated by the results of the analysis of hypothesis testing using the t-test data of the final test (posttest) on the skills of writing narrative texts on the theme of my ideals for the experimental group and the control group obtained a significance value of 0.001, which means less than 0. 05 (0.001 <0.05), and the t count value is 3,473 and the t table value is 1,694. so, the calculated t value is greater than t table (3.473 > 1.694), and the average or mean value obtained in the posttest of the experimental class is 11.12 and 8.47 in the posttest of the control class. So it can be proven that the brainwriting method can improve students' writing skills, especially in narrative text material in class V SDN 4 Sindangsari, Garut Regency.
