Abstract
ABSTRAK Puisi rakyat menjadi folklor yang banyak tersebar di Indonesia dengan sajak rakyat untuk anak-anak, sajak permainan, menjadi bentuk sajak rakyat yang patut mendapat perhatian. Setiap daerah memiliki folklornya masing-masing dengan ciri khas yang berbeda. Salah satunya di Cicalengka, Kabupaten Bandung, Jawa Barat memiliki banyak tradisi lisan yang berkembang mulai dari jampi, dongeng, mitos, sampai lagu kaulinan barudak. Lagu kaulinan barudak yang terkenal pada tahun 90-an salah satunya adalah Nami-Nami Ramo dimainkan sebagai pengenalan nama-nama anggota tubuh khususnya jemari tangan dalam bahasa Sunda. Di samping itu lagu kaulinan barudak berperan aktif sebagai potensi dalam pembentukan karakter. Namun, seiring perkembangan zaman, folklor salah satunya lagu kaulinan barudak mulai kehilangan permukaannya. Untuk melihat potensi karakter apa saja yang dapat dibentuk, dilakukan penelitian pada lagu kaulinan barudak Nami-Nami Ramo yang memiliki tiga variasi teks berbeda. Ditemukan di tiga desa yang ada di Kecamatan Cicalengka, yaitu Desa Narawita, Desa Nagrog, dan Desa Margaasih. Penelitian ini berdasarkan perspektif semiotika dengan dilakukan analisis (1) struktur, (2) proses penciptaan, (3) proses pewarisan, (4) konteks penuturan, (5) fungsi, dan (6) makna. Analisis ini diharapkan dapat menjadi sarana edukasi tentang LKB Nami-Nami Ramo sebagai tradisi lisan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian berupa tuturan yang ditranskripsikan kemudian dikaji berdasarkan teori semiotika Roland Barthes yang mengungkapkan konsep denotasi-konotasi. Analisis menunjukkan teks LKB Nami-Nami Ramo memiliki tiga fungsi sebagai sistem proyeksi, alat pemaksa, serta alat pendidikan anak. Analisis makna teks LKB Nami-Nami Ramo menunjukkan adanya pemaknaan kedua yang berkaitan tentang didikan untuk membentuk karakter. Potensi pembentukan karakter anak dominan muncul pada diksi dan irama bunyi dalam teks LKB Nami-Nami Ramo. Penelitian ini memiliki manfaat penting untuk memperkaya khazanah ilmu tradisi lisan serta mengkaji adanya potensi pembentukan karakter pada lagu kaulinan barudak. Kata kunci: analisis semiotika; potensi pembentukan karakter; dan lagu kaulinan barudak ABSTRACT Folk poetry has become folklore which is widely spread in Indonesia with folk rhymes for children, rhymes for games, being forms of folk rhymes that deserve attention. Each region has its own folklore with different characteristics. One of them, in Cicalengka, Bandung Regency, West Java, has many oral traditions that have developed, ranging from incantations, fairy tales, myths, to the children’s game song. One of the famous children's game songs in the 90s was Nami-Nami Ramo, played as an introduction to the names of body parts, especially the fingers, in Sundanese. Apart from that, children's game songs play an active role as potential in character formation. However, as time goes by, folklore, one of which is children's game songs, is starting to lose its surface. To see what potential characters can be formed, research was conducted on the children's play song Nami-Nami Ramo which has three different text variations. Found in three villages in Cicalengka District, namely Narawita Village, Nagrog Village, and Margaasih Village. This research is based on a semiotic perspective by analyzing (1) structure, (2) creation process, (3) inheritance process, (4) narrative context, (5) function, and (6) meaning. It is hoped that this analysis can be a means of education about the Nami-Nami Ramo children's game song as an oral tradition. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research data is in the form of utterances which are transcribed and then studied based on Roland Barthes' semiotic theory which expresses the concept of denotations. The analysis shows that the text of the Nami-Nami Ramo children's play song has three functions as a projection system, a coercion tool, and a child's educational tool. Analysis of the meaning of the text of the children's play song Nami-Nami Ramo shows that there is a second meaning related to education to shape character. The potential for dominant character formation in children appears in the diction and sound rhythm in the text of the Nami-Nami Ramo children's game song. This research has important benefits for enriching the knowledge of oral traditions and examining the potential for character formation in children's play songs.
