Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya pemahaman siswa SMP dalam belajar menulis sisindiran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa menulis sisindiran sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media wordwall. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuasi eksperimen one group pretest-posttest design kepada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 19 Bandung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menghasilkan tiga perkara. Pertama, kemampuan siswa sebelum menggunakan media wordwall ada dalam kategori belum mampu. Kedua, kemampuan siswa sesudah menggunakan media wordwall ada dalam kategori mampu. Ketiga, adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media wordwall dalam pembelajaran menulis sisindiran siswa SMP kelas VIII. Berdasarkan hasil data uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini yaitu adanya beda yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis sisindiran siswa kelas VIII-A SMP Negeri 19 Bandung tahun ajaran 2022/2023 sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media wordwall. Kata kunci: media wordwall, nulis, sisindiran ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the lack of understanding of junior high school students in learning to write satire. The purpose of this research is to describe students' ability to write satire before and after using wordwall media. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental one group pretest-posttest design method in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 19 Bandung. Based on the results of the research resulted in three cases. First, the ability of students before using wordwall media is in the incapacitated category. Second, the ability of students after using wordwall media is in the capable category. Third, there is a significant difference between students' abilities before and after using wordwall media in learning to write satire for class VIII junior high school students. Based on the results of the hypothesis testing data in this study, namely that there is a significant difference between the ability to write satire in class VIII-A students of SMP Negeri 19 Bandung for the 2022/2023 academic year before and after using wordwall media.
