Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang bervariatifnya model pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran serta kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam biantara. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kemampuan biantara siswa antara sebelum dan setelah menggunakan model Artikulasi serta ada atau tidaknya perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan biantara siswa antara sebelum dan setelah menggunakan model Artikulasi. Penelitian ini merupakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen, desain yang digunakan adalah One Group pre-test dan post-test. Teknik yang digunakan yaitu tes kemampuan biantara yang sumber datanya merupakan siswa kelas XI MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 15 Bandung tahun ajar 2022/2023. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kemampuan biantara siswa sebelum menggunakan model Artikulasi tergolong pada kategori belum mampu dengan nilai rata-rata 61,66 dari KKM 78. Sedangkan kemampuan biantara siswa setelah menggunakan model Artikulasi tergolong pada kategori mampu dengan nilai rata-rata 83,55. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik menggunakan SPSS 18, nilai Sig. (2-tailed) yaitu 0,000 atau kurang dari 0,05. Artinya, terdapat beda yang signifikan antara kemampuan biantara siswa kelas XI MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 15 Bandung tahun ajar 2022/2023 sebelum dan setelah menggunakan model Artikulasi. Kesimpulannya, model Artikulasi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan biantara siswa kelas XI MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 15 Bandung tahun ajar 2022/2023, atau dapat dikatakan bahwa model ini cocok serta efektif dalam pembelajaran biantara.
This research is motivated by the lack of varied learning models used in the learning process and the lack of students' ability in biantara. The purpose of this study is to determine the students' biantara ability between before and after using the Articulation model and whether or not there is a significant difference in students' biantara ability between before and after using the Articulation model. This research is a quantitative approach using the quasi-experimental method, the design used is One Group pre-test and post-test. The technique used is the biantara ability test whose data source is students of class XI MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 15 Bandung in the 2022/2023 academic year. Based on the results of the study, the biantara ability of students before using the Articulation model was classified in the category of not yet able with an average score of 61.66 from KKM 78. While the biantara ability of students after using the Articulation model was classified in the able category with an average score of 83.55. Based on the results of statistical tests using SPSS 18, the value of Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 or less than 0.05. This means that there is a significant difference between the biantara skills of students in class XI MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 15 Bandung in the 2022/2023 academic year before and after using the Articulation model. In conclusion, the Articulation model can improve the biantara skills of students in class XI MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 15 Bandung in the academic year 2022/2023, or it can be said that this model is suitable and effective in learning biantara.
