Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia terkhusus materi teks eksplanasi menjadi aspek penting siswa dalam memperoleh keterampilan memahami dan mengolah informasi dalam teks. Untuk memperoleh keterampilan tersebut diperlukan pemilihan media pembelajaran yang tepat agar dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan membantu pemahaman materi teks eksplanasi bagi siswa. Namun, berdasarkan hasil penelitian di SD Negeri 02 Sukasenang ditemui guru yang belum optimal memanfaatkan media pembelajaran dengan baik sehingga berdampak pada minat, motivasi, dan hasil belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, peneliti merancang dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran KADOSI (Kartu Domino Teks Eksplanasi) pada pembelajaran teks eksplanasi di kelas V sekolah dasar. Peneliti menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri atas lima tahapan, yaitu Analysis, Design,Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini meliputi wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi, penilaian ahli pada proses validasi produk serta angket respon siswa dan respon guru saat implementasi. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi memperoleh nilai validitas 76,11% dengan krteria layak dan validasi oleh ahli media memperoleh nilai validitas 72,08% dengan kriteria layak. Implementasi di SD dilakukan dalam dua tahap dengan sampel yang berbeda. Hasil uji coba pertama dari angket respon siswa memperoleh nilai sebesar 81,92% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik dan angket respon guru 83,166% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Hasil uji coba kedua dari angket respon siswa memperoleh nilai 90,03% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik dan angket respon guru 91% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, media yang dikembangkan valid dan sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran teks eksplanasi di SD. Indonesian language learning, especially explanatory text material, is an important aspectfor students in acquiring skills to understand and process information in the text. To obtain these skills, it is necessary to choose the right learning media in order to increase learning motivation and help students understand explanatory text material. However, based on the results of research at SD Negeri 02 Sukasenang, it was found that teachers had not optimally utilized learning media properly, which had an impact on student interest, motivation, and learning outcomes. Therefore, researchers designed and developed KADOSI (Explanation Text Domino Cards) learning media in learning explanatory text in grade V elementary school. Researchers used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques in this study include interviews, observations, documentation studies, expert assessments in the product validation process as well as student response questionnaires and teacher responses during implementation. The results of validation by material experts obtained a validity value of 76.11% with decent criteria and validation by media experts obtained a validity value of 72.08% with decent criteria. Implementation in elementary schools was carried out in two stages with different samples. The results of the first trial of the student response questionnaire obtained a value of 81.92% with very good qualifications and 83.166% teacher response questionnaire with very good qualifications. The results of the second trial of the student response questionnaire obtained a score of 90.03% with very good qualifications and a teacher response questionnaire of 91% with very good qualifications. Based on these results, the media developed is valid and very feasible to use in learning explanatory text in elementary school.
