Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kecepatan dan akurasi pukulan groundstroke forehand dan backhand antara pemain tenis level porda dan ukm.Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan model penelitian tes dengan sekali penganbilan tes. Sampel berasal dari atlet tenis lapangan yang pernah mengikuti Porda, sebanyak 5 orang dan atlet ukm tenis upi yang berjumlah 29 orang dan hanya diambil sebanyak 5 orang yang sudah bisa melakukan pukulan groundstroke forehand dan backhand, dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Tes di lakukan dengan cara mengukur kecepatan dan akurasi pukulan groundstroke forehand dan backhand dengan cara di lemparkan bola dan memukul secara berpasangan, dan bola mana yang paling banyak masuk ke daerah yang mendekati marker yang sudah di taruh, marker di taruh 4 buah dengan jarak yang sudah ditentukan dengan skor 1 sampai 5, semakin dekat baseline semakin besar point yang didapat. Tes kecepatan memakai alat speed radar gun disaat sampel memukul bola, lalu penguji menembakan alatnya keseluruhan dari setiap sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengambilan data adalah alat speed radar gun sebagai alat pengukur kecepatan dan marker sebagai pengukur skor akurasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan pukulan antara pemain level Porda dan ukm terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan, sementara hasil dari akurasi groundstroke forehand dan backhand tidak terdapat perbedaan. This research was conducted to determine differences in the speed and accuracy of forehand and backhand groundstrokes between tennis players at the Porda and UKM levels. The method used is a quantitative descriptive method with a test research model with one test taking. The samples came from tennis athletes who had participated in Porda, as many as 5 people and UKM UPI tennis athletes totaling 29 people and only 5 people were taken who were able to do forehand and backhand groundstrokes, using a purposive sampling technique. The test is carried out by measuring the speed and accuracy of the forehand and backhand groundstrokes by throwing the ball and hitting it in pairs, and which ball enters the area closest to the marker that has been placed, the marker is placed 4 pieces with a predetermined distance. determined by a score of 1 to 5, the closer to the baseline the greater the points obtained. The speed test uses a speed radar gun when the sample hits the ball, then the examiner shoots the whole tool from each sample. The instrument used for data collection is a speed radar gun as a speed measuring device and a marker as an accuracy score gauge. The results of the study show that there is a significant difference in hitting speed between Porda and UKM level players, while there is no difference in the accuracy of the forehand and backhand groundstrokes.
