Abstract
Saat ini, manusia bisa dikatakan sebagai penyumbang sampah terbesar di bumi. Di Indonesia tercatat frekuensi sampah mencapai 68,5 juta ton dan tahun 2022 mengalami kenaikan mencapai 70 ton. Hal ini terjadi karena kurangnya rasa cinta manusia terhadap lingkungan. Maka dari itu, perlu adanya edukasi yang berjalan secara komprehensif dan konsisten mengenai lingkungan. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan program kreasi celengan sampah dalam rangka menanamkan karakter cinta lingkungan dan kreativitas. Tahap penelitian meliputi (1) identifikasi masalah, (2) mendeskripsikan tujuan, (3) desain & pengembangan produk, (4) uji coba produk, (5) evaluasi hasil uji coba, dan (6) mengkomunikasikan hasil uji coba. Skripsi dengan judul “Pengembangan Program Kreasi Celengan Sampah dalam Menanamkan Cinta Lingkungan dan Kreativitas Siswa Kelas V” merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan desain penelitian D&D. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN Malaka yang berlokasi di Desa Malaka, Kecamatan Situraja, Kabupaten Sumedang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa program kreasi celengan sampah dengan persentase kelayakan dari (1) ahli penelitian pengembangan mencapai 92,5% dengan kategori sangat layak, (2) ahli IPA mencapai 96,2% dengan kategori sangat layak, dan (3) praktisi pendidikan mencapai 95% dengan kategori sangat layak. Dalam mengimplementasikan program kreasi celengan sampah siswa kelas V terlihat antusias dan ikut aktif berpartisipasi mengikuti setiap kegiatan yang dipadukan dalam program ini. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan pengembangan program ini sangat layak untuk menanamkan karakter cinta lingkungan dan kreativitas siswa kelas V. Today, humans can be said to be the biggest contributor to waste on earth. In Indonesia, the frequency of waste is recorded at 68.5 million tons and in 2022 it will increase to 70 tons. This happens because of the lack of human love for the environment. Therefore, there is a need for education that runs comprehensively and consistently about the environment. This research aims to develop a waste piggy bank creation program in order to instill the character of environmental love and creativity. The research stages include (1) problem identification, (2) describing objectives, (3) product design & development, (4) product trials, (5) evaluating trial results, and (6) communicating trial results. The thesis with the title "Development of a Trash Piggy Bank Creation Program in Instilling Environmental Love and Creativity of Grade V Students" is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the D&D research design. The research population was fifth grade students of SDN Malaka located in Malaka Village, Situraja District, Sumedang Regency. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation which were analyzed descriptively. The results of this study are in the form of a waste piggy bank creation program with a percentage of feasibility from (1) development research experts reaching 92.5% with a very feasible category, (2) science experts reaching 96.2% with a very feasible category, and (3) educational practitioners reaching 95% with a very feasible category. In implementing the waste piggy bank creation program, grade V students look enthusiastic and actively participate in participating in every activity integrated in this program. So it can be concluded that the development of this program is very feasible to instill the character of environmental love and creativity of grade V students.
