Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan pengambilan keputusan karir siswa yang menunjukkan perilaku siswa yang belum seutuhnya mampu mengambil keputusan karirnya untuk masa depan. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya kemampuan pengambilan keputusan karir siswa yaitu efikasi diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara efikasi dengan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan karir siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode crosscectional survey dengan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel menggunakan nonprobability. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif antara efikasi diri dengan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan karir siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan dengan nilai r = 0.413 dan p = 0.000 yang artinya nilai p < 0.01. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi rekomendasi untuk guru bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah menengah kejuruan sebagai panduan penyusunan layanan bimbingan karir.

The low career decision-making ability of students, who shows the behavior of students who are not fully able to make career decision. One of the factors that cause the low career decision-making ability of students is self-efficacy. This studi aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and career decision-making ability of vocational high school students. The research method used is a crossectional survey method with a quantitative research approach with a correlational design and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The technique used in sampling used nonprobability with saturated sample technique. The result showed that there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and the career decision-making ability of vocational high school students with a value of r = 0.413 and p = 0.000, which means the p value < 0.01. The results of this study can be a recommendation for guidance and counseling teachers in vocational high school as a guide for preparing career guidance services.
