    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi minimnya penelitian mengenai variabel kesadaran gender
    terutama pengembangan alat ukur kesadaran gender yang secara spesifik diteliti di
    Indonesia terutama untuk layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Penelitian ini menjadikan
    kesadaran gender sebagai variabel yang secara spesifik dibahas dan dieksplorasi untuk
    mengembangkan instrumen kesadaran gender dalam rangka menunjang keberjalanan
    layanan bimbingan dan konseling di perguruan tinggi yang komprehensif. Jenis penelitian
    ini ialah studi deskriptif menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei desain
    cross-sectional jenis attitudes and practices bertujuan pada peningkatan pengetahuan,
    sikap, dan praktik. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukan pengembangan instrumen
    kesadaran gender berdasarkan uji EFA (exploratory factor analysis) berskala multidimensi,
    memiliki 2 dimensi yaitu dimensi ideologi peran gender dan dimensi sensitivitas gender,
    memiliki 23 butir item pernyataan. Berdasarkan uji validitas konstruk, uji rating scale
    menunjukan bahwa instrumen berada pada kategori bagus dan mampu mengukur yang
    seharusnya diukur. Hasil uji reliabilitas instrumen menunjukan bahwa butir instrumen
    menunjukan kualitas yang baik untuk mengukur kesadaran gender. Rekomendasi bagi
    peneliti selanjutnya dapat melakukan validasi instrumen final kesadaran gender dan
    menjustifikasi manual book instrumen kesadaran gender.

    This research is motivated by the lack of research on gender awareness variables,
    especially the development of gender awareness measurement tools that have been
    specifically studied in Indonesia, especially for guidance and counseling services.
    This research makes gender awareness a variable that is specifically discussed and
    explored to develop gender awareness instruments to support the implementation
    of comprehensive guidance and counseling services intertiary institutions. Type of
    research is a descriptive study using a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional
    design survey method with the type of attitudes and practices aimed at increasing
    knowledge, attitudes, and practices. Result of the research show that the
    development of a gender awareness instrument based on the EFA (exploratory
    factor analysis) test on a multidimensional scale, has 2 dimensions, namely the
    ideological dimension of gender roles and the dimension of gender sensitivity,
    which has 23 statement items. Based on the construct validity test, the rating scale
    test shows that the instrument is in a good category and is able to measure what it
    should measure. The instrument reliability test showed that the instrument items
    showed good quality for measuring gender awareness. Recommendations for future
    researchers can validate the final gender awareness instrument and justify the gender
    awareness instrument manual book.
