Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pemahaman pecahan senilai dengan menggunakan media phet simulation di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini didasari karena rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik dan kurangnya penggunan media inovasi yang diterapkan pada pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar khususnya pada mata pelajajaran matematika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Kuasi Eksperimen dengan populasi kelas IV di SDN Leuwibodas sebanyak 40 peserta didik dan sampel ditentukan secara saturation sampling yaitu kelas IVA sebanyak 20 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IVB sebanyak 20 peserta didik sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes uraian dengan jumlah 5 nomor soal. Teknik analisis menggunakan software SPSS 26.0. Hasil penelitian ini setelah uji hipotesis pada data postest dengan Uji T menghasilkan thitung = 7,564 dengan taraf signifikansi 5% atau 0,05 menghasilkan ttabel = 1,685. Dengan demikian, efektivitas media phet simulation dalam materi pecahan senilai signifikan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes in understanding equivalent fractions by using phet simulation media in elementary schools. This research is based on the low learning outcomes of students and the lack of use of innovative media that are applied to learning in elementary schools, especially in mathematics subjects. The research method used was the Quasi-Experimental method with a population of class IV at SDN Leuwibodas as many as 40 students and the sample was determined by saturation sampling, namely class IVA as many as 20 students as the experimental class and class IVB as many as 20 students as the control class. The research instrument used was a description test with 5 question numbers. The analysis technique uses SPSS 26.0 software. The results of this study after testing the hypothesis on the posttest data with the T test yielded tcount = 7.564 with a significance level of 5% or 0.05 yielded ttable = 1.685. Thus, the effectiveness of the phet simulation media in fractional material is of significant value to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students.
