Abstract

ABSTRAK Dewasa ini bahan ajar berbicara pada materi berbicara masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berbicara dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA dengan menggunakan media android dan model open ended. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D. Pada tahap awal penelitian, peneliti menyebarkan kuesioner kepada siswa dan guru untuk memudahkan dalam menganalisis bahan ajar berbicara yang tersedia. Berdasarkan penyebaran kuesioner tersebut diketahui profil kebutuhan dan kesulitan siswa sehingga peneliti merancang ancangan model, desain awal produk, dan rancangan materi untuk pengembangan bahan ajar. Kemudian, rancangan model dikembangkan menjadi produk bahan ajar berbantuan android yang didalam nya terdapat materi, instruksi interaktif, video dan audio contoh dalam debat. Terdapat evaluasi berjumlah 10 soal tes untuk melihat kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan refleksi diri untuk melihat sejauh mana dalam memahami materi. Produk bahan ajar yang telah disusun kemudian divalidasi oleh ahli. Hasil validasi menunjukkan predikat Baik atau layak diujicobakan dengan revisi. Produk yang sudah direvisi kemudian disebarkan pada beberapa sekolah dan diujicobakan kepada siswa di sekolah. Hasil respons guru dan terhadap bahan ajar masing-masing memperoleh persentase sebesar 98% dan 88%. Berdasarkan respons pelibat dapat diketahui bahwa bahan ajar berbicara berbantuan android dengan model open ended untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA sangat layak diterapkan. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan rujukan pada pembelajaran di sekolah dan lembaga pendidikan lainnya. This study aims to produce speaking teaching materials to improve high school students' critical thinking skills by using Android media and open-ended models. The research was conducted using a 4-D development model. In the early stages of the study, the researcher distributed questionnaires to students and teachers to make it easier to analyze the available speaking teaching materials. Based on the distribution of the questionnaire, the profile of students' needs and difficulties was known, so the researchers designed a model plan, initial product design, and material design for the development of teaching materials. Then, the model design was developed into an android-assisted teaching material product which included materials, interactive instructions, and video and audio examples from debates. There is an evaluation of 10 test questions to see students' critical thinking skills and self-reflection to see how far they have understood the material. Teaching material products that have been compiled are then validated by experts. The results of the validation showed the title "Good or worthy of being tested with revisions. The revised product was then distributed to several schools and tested on students at the school. The results of the teacher's response to the teaching materials obtained percentages of 98% and 88%, respectively. Based on the responses of the participants, It can be seen that the android-assisted speaking teaching materials with the open-ended model to improve the critical thinking skills of high school students are very feasible to apply. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used as a reference for learning in schools and other educational institutions.
