Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara gaya kelekatan dan keberfungsian keluarga pada sandwich generation. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, sampel pada penelitian ini adalah sandwich generation berjumlah 546 yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik incidental sampling. Instrumen keberfungsian keluarga dalam penelitian ini menggunakan GF12 FAD (General Functioning 12 Family Assesment Device) dari Epstein et al. (1978) yang telah diadaptasi oleh Muchtar (2021) dengan jumlah item 12; r = 0.89 dan instrumen gaya kelekatan menggunakan Revisted Adult Attachment Scale dari Collins & Read (1990) yang telah diadaptasi oleh Midyani (2016) dengan jumlah item 18; r = 0.66. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasional dengan uji spearman’s rho dengan menggunakan bantuan Winstep dan software SPSS versi 25.0 for windows. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Terdapat hubungan positif antara gaya kelekatan aman dan keberfungsian keluarga pada sandwich generation; 2) Terdapat hubungan negtif antara gaya kelekatan cemas dan keberfungsian keluarga pada sandwich generation; 3) Terdapat hubungan negatif antara gaya kelekatan menghindar dan keberfungsian keluarga pada sandwich generation. This study aims to determine the relationship between attachment style and family functioning in sandwich generation. This study used a quantitative approach, the sample in this study were 546 sandwich generations who were taken using the incidental sampling technique. The family functioning instrument in this study used the GF12 FAD (General Functioning 12 Family Assessment Device) from Epstein et al. (1978) which has been adapted by Muchtar (2021) with a total of 12 items; r = 0.89 and the attachment style instrument uses the Revisted Adult Attachment Scale from Collins & Read (1990) which has been adapted by Midyani (2016) with a total of 18 items; r = 0.66. The data analysis technique used is correlational with the Spearman's rho test using Winstep assistance and SPSS software version 25.0 for windows. The results of this study indicate that 1) There is a positive relationship between secure attachment style and family functioning in sandwich generation; 2) There is a negative relationship between anxious attachment style and family functioning in the sandwich generation; 3) There is a negative relationship between avoidant attachment style and family functioning in sandwich generation.
