Abstract
Hasil belajar adalah perubahan tingkah laku peserta didik ke arah yang lebih baik, yang dijadikan ukuran keberhasilan dari proses belajar mengajar sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini, dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIPA, yang disebabkan oleh rendahnya minat dan motivasi belajar peserta didik, kurang variatifnya model dan media pembelajaran dalam mata pelajaran PPKn. Oleh karena itu, peneliti berupaya untuk memberikan solusi alternatif dengan diterapkannya model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajaran PPKn. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran PPKn. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini, menggunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan design Non-Equivalent Kontrol Group Design. Populasinya adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIPA di SMA Negeri 20 Bandung. Dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 72 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengunakan tes (pilihan ganda), skala sikap dan angket. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis mengunakan statistic paramentrik. Temuan penelitian ini memperoleh empat hal yaitu: (1) hasil belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 86, 52 dengan menerapkan model Problem Based Learning (PBL), sedangkan kelas Kontrol yang menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 77,57; (2) terdapat perbandingan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas Kontrol setelah diberi perlakuan dengan perbandingan sebesar 8,95%; (3) pengaruh peningkatan hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi setelah diberi perlakuan, peningkatan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen sebesar 17,69%; dan (4) memperoleh tanggapan sangat baik dari peserta didik terhadap penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan perolehan Tingkat Capaian Responden (TCR) sebesar 96,6%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Laerning (PBL) berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran PPKn. Learning outcomes are changes in the behavior of students in a better direction, which is used as a measure of the success of the teaching and learning process in accordance with the learning objectives. This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of class XI MIPA students, which was caused by the low interest and motivation of students learning, the lack of variety of learning models and media in Civics subjects. Therefore, researchers seek to provide alternative solutions by implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in Civics learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on improving student learning outcomes in Civics learning. The research method in this study used a quasi-experimental design with a Non-Equivalent Kontrol Group Design. The population is students of class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 20 Bandung. With a research sample of 72 students. Data collection was carried out using tests (multiple choice), attitude scales and questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using parametric statistics. The findings of this study obtained four things: (1) the learning outcomes of the experimental class students obtained an average score of 86.52 by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, while the Kontrol class applying the conventional learning model obtained an average value of 77.57; (2) there is a significant comparison of learning outcomes between the experimental class and the Kontrol class after being treated with a ratio of 8.95%; (3) the effect of increasing learning outcomes in the experimental class is higher after being given treatment, the increase in learning outcomes in the experimental class is 17.69%; and (4) obtaining very good responses from students towards the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with the acquisition of a Respondent Attainment Rate (TCR) of 96.6%. Thus, it can be concluded that the research results conclude that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model has a positive effect on student learning outcomes in Civics learning.
