Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang konsep Merdeka Belajar dalam pandangan Ki Hadjar Dewantara, seorang tokoh pendidikan Indonesia. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tiga hal: (1) dasar-dasar konsep Merdeka Belajar menurut Ki Hadjar Dewantara, (2) perbedaan konsep belajar konvensional dengan konsep Merdeka Belajar Ki Hadjar Dewantara, dan (3) implikasi konsep Merdeka Belajar Ki Hadjar Dewantara terhadap praktik kegiatan belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali konsep kemerdekaan dalam kegiatan belajar melalui pemikiran dari Ki Hadjar Dewantara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif berupa penelitian kepustakaan atau studi literatur. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah buku-buku yang berisi pemikiran Ki Hadjar Dewantara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Merdeka Belajar dalam pandangan Ki Hadjar Dewantara merupakan konsep belajar yang memerdekakan manusia. Proses pelaksanaan pendidikan melalui penyelenggaraan praktik kegiatan belajar menuntun dan membebaskan anak didik agar dapat tumbuh berdasarkan dasar dan kodratnya masing-masing. Selain memerdekakan anak didik dalam proses belajarnya, Merdeka Belajar juga bertujuan untuk membentuk manusia yang merdeka, yang berarti dapat berdiri sendiri, tidak bergantung kepada orang lain, dan dapat mengatur dirinya sendiri secara mandiri. ; This research examines the concept of independent learning (Merdeka Belajar) in the views of Ki Hadjar Dewantara, an Indonesian education figure. The research aims to describe three things: (1) the basics of the concept of Merdeka Belajar according to Ki Hadjar Dewantara; (2) the difference between the conventional learning concept and Ki Hadjar Dewantara's concept of Merdeka Belajar; and (3) the implications of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's concept of Merdeka Belajar on the practice of activities study. The aim of this research is to explore the concept of independence in learning activities through the thoughts of Ki Hadjar Dewantara. This research uses a descriptive analysis method in the form of library research or literature study. The data sources in this research are books containing the thoughts of Ki Hadjar Dewantara. The results of the research show that freedom of learning, in Ki Hadjar Dewantara's view, is a learning concept that liberates humans. The process of implementing education through the implementation of practical learning activities guides and liberates students so that they can grow based on their respective foundations and natures. Apart from liberating students in their learning process, Merdeka Belajar also aims to form independent humans, which means they can stand alone, not depend on other people, and manage themselves independently.
