Abstract
Pembelajaran merupakan tolak ukur peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa, salah satu factor pendukungnya yaitu metode yang digunakan. Peneliti mencoba memberikan solusi dengan mengedepankan metode Cooperative Learning sebagai sebuah jawaban ataskejenuhan siswa yang mengakibatkan monotony prestasi belajar. Metode ini merupakan pembelajaran berkelompok secara terstruktur yang menerapkan sistem pembelajaran berbagai arah, diantaranya dari guru kesiswa, darisiswake guru jugadarisiswakesiswa. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah 20 orang kelaseksperimendan20 orang kelas control dari siswa kelasX 1 MAN Gegempalan Maparah-Panjalu-Ciamis. Berdasarkan uji kesamaan dua rata-rata skor postest kelas eksperimen sebesar 81,33dan kelas kontrol sebesar 69,33. Hal ini menujukan bahwa nilai rata-rata posttes kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibanding nilai rata-rata posttes kelas kontrol yaitu 81,33>69,33. Dan Berdasarkan uji kesamaan dua rata-rata nilai indeks gain kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol diperoleh hasil 0,58>0,28. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata indeks gainkelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol. Setelah melakukan uji hipotesis menghasilkan nilai probabilitas <0,05. Dengan demikian, hipotesis yang penulis ajukan dapat diterima secara signifikan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode Cooperative Learning efektifdalam meningkatkan pretasibelajar bahasa Arab.Oleh karena itu, metode pembelajaran ini dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan prestasibelajar bahasa Arab siswa. In learning, one of the most important supporting factors is the method employed. In this study, the researcher tries to offer solution to students’ boredom in leaning that leads to monotonous their learning achievement by applying cooperative learning method. This method is a structurally group-based method concerning with a variety of ways from teacher to students, students to teachers, and among students themselves. Respondents in this study are 20 students of experimental group and 20 students of control group coming from the tenth grade at Gegempalan, Maparah – Panjalu – Ciamis . According to this study, the means of each group are 81.33 for experimental group and 69,33 for the control one. This means that the mean of experimental group in posttest is higher than that of the control group, 81.33 > 69.33. From those both groups’ mean scores, it is known that the index gain scores of both groups are 0.58 for experimental group and 0.28 control croup which obviously shows that the score of experimental group is again bigger than that of control group. However, after testing the hypothesis, it is proven that the probability value is smaller than the alpha level of 0.05. On the other hand, it can be concluded that cooperative learning method is effective in improving students’ Arabic language achievement. Therefore, it is likely to be safe to say that this method is applicable for Arabic language teaching and learning.
