Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan media video animasi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA. Sampel sebanyak 60 orang siswa pada 2 kelas dri salah satu SMA Negeri di kota Cimahi, menggunakan one group pre-test post-test design. Instrumen yang digunakan soal pre-test dan post-test kemampuan berpikir kritis pilihan ganda beralasan, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan, dan angket respon siswa. Uji yang dilakukan dalam penelitian adalah uji N-Gain. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan media video animasi berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan perolehan skor pre-test sebesar 30,6 dan post-test sebesar 77,7 dengan hasil skor N-Gain 0,68 yang artinya terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam kategori sedang. Sedangkan persentase tanggapan siswa sebesar 96,6% yang artinya tanggapan siswa terhadap model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan media video animasi sangat baik. This study aims to analyze the application of Jigsaw-Type Cooperative Learning Model assisted by animated video media on improving senior high school students' critical thinking ability on global warming topic. This study used one group pre-test post-test design with 60 students from 2 classes of senior high school in Cimahi city as the sample. The instruments used are pre-test and post-test critical thinking skills in the form of multiple-reasoned choices, implementation observation sheets, and student response questionnaires. The test carried out in this study is the N-Gain Test. The result showed that Jigsaw-Type Cooperative Learning Model assisted by animated video media had an effect on improving students’ critical thinking skills by obtaining a pre-test score of 30,6 and a post-test of 77,7 with a N-Gain score of 0,68, which means that there is an increase in students’ critical thinking skills in the moderate category. Meanwhile, the percentage of student response is 96,6%, which means that student responses to the jigsaw-type cooperative model assisted by animated video media is very well.
