Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan praktik pengukuran kinerja dan penyusunan strategi PT Venamon saat ini ke dalam pendekatan Balanced Scorecard untuk meningkatkan kinerja keuangan jangka panjang. Desain penelitian adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu manajer PT Venamon dan perwakilan karyawan tiap departemennya. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik pengukuran kinerja PT Venamon terdapat dalam supra sistem manajemen yang dinamai Venamon Manegement System dan pengukuran kinerja dilakukan melalui pedoman manajemen mutu dengan penilaian sasaran mutu. Penulis menyusun kerangka Balanced Scorecard untuk menilai bagaimana BSC dapat meningkatkan kinerja keuangan jangka panjang perusahaan. PT Venamon telah memiliki kesiapan dalam penerapan Balanced Scorecard secara lebih lanjut namun perlu didukung dengan komitmen yang kuat dari manajemen puncak dan adanya unit khusus yang mempersiapkan Balanced Scorecard pada PT Venamon. This study aims to develop PT Venamon's current performance measurement and strategy development practices into a Balanced Scorecard approach to improve long-term financial performance. Research design is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were managers of PT Venamon and representatives of employees of each department. Data collection techniques use interview, observation, and documentation methods. The results showed that PT Venamon's performance measurement practices are contained in a management supra-system called Venamon Management System and performance measurement is carried out through quality management guidelines with quality target assessment. The authors devised a Balanced Scorecard framework to assess how BSC can improve a company's long-term financial performance. PT Venamon has readiness to implement the Balanced Scorecard further but needs to be supported by a strong commitment from top management and the existence of a special unit that prepares the Balanced Scorecard at PT Venamon.
