Abstract

ABSTRAK
Keterampilan yang harus dikuasai di abad ke-21 salah satunya adalah keterampilan
berpikir kritis, untuk bisa menghadapi tuntutan di abad ke-21 dibutuhkan
kemampuan literasi, salah satunya ialah literasi membaca. Dalam hal ini penting
untuk menerapkan pendekatan belajar yang membuat siswa mengalami
pembelajaran yang bermakna dan membuat siswa aktif dalam pembelajaran. Model
pembelajaran Siklus pembelajaran 5E dan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay
Two Stray dapat memfasilitasi siswa untuk belajar secara aktif. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengungkap pengaruh penggunaan model Siklus pembelajaran 5E
yang diintegrasikan dengan Two Stay Two Stray terhadap keterampilan berpikir
kritis dan literasi membaca siswa SMA pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Metode
yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-test post-test control group design.
Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X pada salah satu SMAN di Bandung (N= 59)
dan dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
bahwa terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan literasi membaca pada
siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran siklus pembelajaran 5Eyang
diintegrasikan dengan strategi Two Stay Two Stray. Hasil pengujian hipotesis
dilakukan dengan uji Mann Whitney mendapatkan nilai signifikansi 0,018 pada
keterampilan berpikir kritis dan 0,000 pada literasi membaca yang lebi kecil dari α
0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dapat disimpulkan
bahwa model Siklus pembelajaran 5E yang diintegrasikan dengan Two Stay Two
Stray memengaruhi keterampilan berpikir kritis dan literasi membaca siswa.

ABSTRACT
One of the skills that must be mastered in the 21st century is critical thinking skills,
to be able to face the demands of the 21st century, literacy skills are needed, one of
which is reading literacy. In this case, it is important to apply a learning approach
that makes students experience meaningful learning and makes students active in
learning. Learning cycle 5E model and Two Stay Two Stray strategy can facilitate
students to learn actively. This study aims to reveal the effect of using the learning
cycle 5E model integrated with Two Stay Two Stray on critical thinking skills and
reading literacy of high school students on environmental change material. The
method used in this research is pre-test post-test control group design. The research
sample was X MIPA class students at one of the senior high school in Bandung
(N=59) and selected by purposive sampling technique. The results showed that
there were differences in critical thinking skills and reading literacy in students
who used the siklus pembelajaran 5E learning model integrated with the Two Stay
Two Stray strategy. The results of hypothesis testing conducted with the Mann
Whitney test obtained a significance value of 0.018 in critical thinking skills and
0.000 in reading literacy which is smaller than α 0.05. This shows that H0 is
rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that the Siklus pembelajaran 5E
model integrated with Two Stay Two Stray affects students' critical thinking skills
and reading literacy.
