Abstract

ABSTRAK Skripsi ini berjudul “Penerapan Proyek Video Podcast untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berkomunikasi Siswa” . Penelitian ini didasarkan oleh hasil temuan peneliti di kelas X-12 SMA Negeri 9 Bandung yaitu rendahnya keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Keterampilan berkomunikasi ini merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang perlu dilatih dan dikuasai siswa pada abad ke-21. Komunikasi juga memiliki keterkaitan yang kuat dengan pembelajaran. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah melalui penerapan proyek video podcast. Indikator yang disempurnakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan hasil penggabungan ide-ide peneliti dengan referensi dari para ahli yaitu mengeluarkan pendapat, mendengarkan pendapat orang lain dan keterampilan merespon informasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga tindakan dengan menggunakan desain penelitian John Elliot yang mencakup identifikasi masalah, rencana umum, langkah tindakan 1 hingga tindakan 3, monitor implementasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menujukan bahwa setelah menerapkan proyek video podcast dalam pembelajaran sejarah, keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa dapat meningkat setiap siklusnya. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa kelas X-12 SMA Negeri 9 Bandung dengan beberapa kendala yang dapat diatasi oleh peneliti dan guru mitra. Kemudian, rekomendasi penelitian ini ditujukan kepada pihak guru, sekolah dan kepada peneliti selanjutnya. This research is based on the findings of researchers in class X-12 SMA Negeri 9 Bandung, namely the low communication skills of students in learning history. This communication skill is one of the skills that students need to train and master in the 21st century. Communication also has a strong relationship with learning. The main objective of this research is to improve students' communication skills in learning history through the implementation of a podcast video project. The enhanced indicators in this study are the result of combining the researcher's ideas with references from experts, namely expressing opinions, listening to other people's opinions and responding to information skills. This research was conducted in two cycles, where each cycle consisted of three actions using John Elliot's research design which includes problem identification, general plan, action steps 1 to action 3, monitor implementation and reflection. The results of the research showed that after implementing the podcast video project in learning history, students' communication skills can improve each cycle. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant improvement in the communication skills of students in class X-12 SMA Negeri 9 Bandung with several obstacles that can be overcome by researchers and teachers. Then, the recommendations of this study are addressed to teachers, schools and to further researchers.
