Abstract

Pandangan Orang Tua Keluarga “Awe-Awe” di Gunung Gumitir Tentang Kegiatan Bermain Bagi Anak Usia Dini Nuzulul Pawestri NIM: 1906626 ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi pandangan orang tua pelaku “Awe-Awe” terhadap pemenuhan hak bermain anak dengan menggunakan perspektif keadilan sosial John Rawls. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus dan dilakukan selama dua bulan, dengan melibatkan tiga orang partisipan pelaku “Awe-Awe” di Gunung Gumitir, Banyuwangi-Jember. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua menyadari bahwa bermain merupakan hak anak, namun hal tersbut belum mampu dipenuhi secara layak karena berbagai permasalan yang kompleks sehingga melibatkan anak dalam praktik “Awe-Awe”. Meskipun anak-anak menunjukkan kegembiraan saat bermain di sela-sela waktu bekerja sebagai pelaku “Awe-Awe”, hal tersebut tetap berisiko. Hak bermain anak terpinggirkan karena mereka terlibat dalam bekerja untuk membantu ekonomi keluarga. Diperlukan solusi holistik dan terintegrasi, termasuk pemberdayaan ekonomi keluarga, akses pendidikan, dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap hak bermain anak. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung pemenuhan hak bermain anak dari keluarga pelaku “Awe-Awe”. Implikasinya adalah upaya kolektif dari berbagai pihak untuk memastikan pemenuhan hak bermain yang adil dan memadai serta kesejahteraan keluarga pelaku “Awe-Awe”. Kata kunci: hak bermain anak, pelaku “Awe-Awe”, keadilan sosial, kelompok terpinggirkan, solusi holistik. Abstract PARENTS' VIEW OF “AWE-AWE” FAMILY AT MOUNT GUMITIR ABOUT PLAY ACTIVITIES FOR EARLY CHILDREN Nuzulul Pawestri 1906626 The purpose of this research is to explore the views of the parents of “Awe-Awe” perpetrators towards fulfilling children's right to play by using Rawls's social justice perspective. This research uses a qualitative approach with the case study method and was conducted for two months, involving three participants of the “Awe-Awe” actors on Mount Gumitir, Banyuwangi-Jember. The research findings show that parents are aware that playing is a child's right, but this has not been fulfilled properly because of various complex problems that involve children in the practice of “Awe-Awe”. Although children show joy when playing on the sidelines while working as perpetrators of “Awe-Awe”, it is still a risk. Children's right to play is marginalized because of them involved in working to help the family economy. Holistic and integrated solutions are needed, including family economic empowerment, access to education, and public awareness of children's right to play. This research contributes to creating an environment that supports the fulfillment of the child's right to play from the “Awe-Awe” perpetrator's family. The implication is a collective effort from various parties to ensure the fulfillment of rights fair and adequate play and the welfare of the families of the “Awe-Awe” perpetrators.
