Abstract
Program kerja praktik merupakan suatu platform yang memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa guna mendapatkan pengalaman, yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan kesiapan kerja mereka dalam mengahapi tantangan dunia kerja di masa yang akan datang. Dengan demikian, tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kesiapan kerja mahasiswa ditinjau melalui motivasi kerja dan kinerja kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda dan hasil data tersebut diolah menggunakan software SPSS versi 20. Partisipan penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa di bidang telekomunikasi yang sedang atau sudah melaksanakan kerja praktik dengan jumlah 135 partisipan. Mahasiswa diminta untuk mengisi kuesioner yang terdiri dari 35 pertanyaan melalui Google Form dengan menjawab menggunakan Skala Likert empat berupa pilihan ganda. Temuan pada penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa di bidang telekomunikasi, (2) kinerja kerja praktik memengaruhi kesiapan kerja mahasiswa di bidang telekomunikasi, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh pada motivasi kerja dan kinerja kerja guna meningkatkan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa di bidang telekomunikasi sebesar 53.6%. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mendorong mahasiswa untuk terus meningkatkan kesiapan kerja mereka melalui pengalaman kerja praktik, sehingga mereka dapat memenuhi persyaratan di dunia kerja. The apprenticeship program serves as a platform for students to acquire practical experience, which in turn will increase their job readiness for facing the challenges of the world of work in the future. Thus, the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of student job readiness in terms of work motivation and job performance. This study uses quantitative methods with multiple linear regression analysis techniques, and the result of the data are processed using SPSS software version 20. The participants of this study are students in the field of telecommunications who are currently or have carrier out apprenticeship, for a total of 135 participants. Students were asked to fill out a questionnaire consisting of 35 questions via Google Form by answering using a four-point Likert Scale in the form of multiple choice. The findings in this study found that: (1) there is an influence of work motivation on students’ job readiness in the field of telecommunications; (2) job performance affects student job readiness in the field of telecommunications; and (3) there is an influence on work motivation and job performance to increase students job readiness in the field of telecommunications by 53.6%. This research is expected to encourage students to continue to improve their job readiness through apprenticeship experience so that they can meet the requirements of the workplace.
