Rudhya Nurul Ilma, - (2023) PENERAPAN METODE FIELD TRIP DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KECERDASAN NATURALIS SISWA SMA PADA MATERI PLANTAE. S1 thesis, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of field trip method on naturalist intelligence of high school students on Plantae material. Naturalist intelligence is important for students to create a generation that cares about nature and other living things. The research method used was pre-experimental, with a one group pretest-posttest design. This study was conducted on X Science class students in one of the high schools in Bandung City consisting of 32 students. Data were obtained from the results of the pre-test and post-test, a mock test and a questionnaire containing 9 indicators of naturalistic intelligence, as well as a student response questionnaire to field trip learning. The data obtained were tested for Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Paired Sample T-Test, and N-Gain. The results showed that the field trip learning method had an effect on students' naturalist intelligence, indicated by the average score of students at the posttest was better than the pretest with an N-Gain score of 0.4 and in the questionnaire the N-Gain score was 0.5, both of which were in the moderate category. In addition, the questionnaire data shows students' positive response to field trip learning with a very good category. The most prominent indicator of the response to field trips is that field trips are very fun learning. It can be concluded that the field trip method affects students' naturalist intelligence on Plantae material.
