Abstract
Perilaku on-task merupakan perilaku yang dikehendaki dan dibutuhkan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari di sekolah maupun di rumah. Tujuan penelitian untuk memberikan gambaran seberapa besar pengaruh teknik token ekonomi terhadap perilaku on-task dalam aktivitas mengerjakan tugas sekolah pada anak tunarungu di SLB Negeri Cicendo Kota Bandung. Penelitian didasari kebutuhan pembelajaran anak tunarungu terkait dengan on-task yang harus ditingkatkan dengan teknik token ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan Single Subject Research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A. Baseline1 melakukan observasi perilaku tanpa intervensi selama lima sesi, intervensi melakukan penilaian perilaku dengan diterapkan teknik token ekonomi ketika mengerjakan tugas selama tujuh sesi, dan baseline2 observasi perilaku on-task selama lima sesi setelah diberikan intervensi. Subjek penelitian anak tunarungu berat kelas 1 SD yang tidak sensitif terhadap gertaran juga tidak ada stimulasi suara yang masuk dari lingkungan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi perilaku on-task ketika mengerjakan tugas dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis visual dalam kondisi yang menganalisis perubahan data dalam satu kondisi dan analisis antar kondisi untuk menganalisis perubahan antara kondisi satu dengan lainnya. Hasil penelitian perilaku on-task pada anak tunarungu berat di usia kecil meningkat terutama dalam perilaku on-task motor yaitu bertambahnya durasi mempertahankan duduknya dan berkurangnya frekuensi melihat ke arah lain. Penggunaan token ekonomi dapat direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan perilaku on-task dalam mengerjakan tugas sekolah seperti mengerjakan lembar kerja berhitung, menulis, menggambar, atau membuat suatu karya baik di sekolah maupun di rumah pada anak tunarungu di usia kecil atau anak tunarungu di usia besar yang memiliki karakteristik yang sama dengan subjek penelitian. Kata Kunci: anak tunarungu, on-task, token ekonomi, peningkatan perilaku. On-task behavior is behavior that is desired and needed in daily activities at school and at home. The purpose of the study was to provide an overview of how much influence the token economy technique has on on-task behavior in schoolwork activities for deaf children in SLB Negeri Cicendo Bandung City. The research is based on the learning needs of deaf children related to on-task which must be improved by token economy techniques. The method used Single Subject Research (SSR) with A-B-A design. Baseline1 performed behavioral observations without intervention for five sessions, interventions performed behavioral assessments by applying token economy techniques when working on tasks for seven sessions, and baseline2 observed on-task behavior for five sessions after being given the intervention. The study subjects were severely deaf children in grade 1 elementary school who were not sensitive to vibration nor did there be sound stimulation coming from the environment. Data collection techniques with on-task behavior observation when doing tasks and data analysis techniques used are visual analysis in conditions that analyze changes in data in one condition and analysis between conditions to analyze changes between conditions with one another. The results of the study of on-task behavior in severely deaf children at a young age increased, especially in on-task motor behavior, namely increased duration of maintaining sitting and reduced frequency of looking in other directions. The use of economic tokens can be recommended to improve on-task behavior in doing schoolwork such as doing worksheets counting, writing, drawing, or making a work both at school and at home in deaf children at a young age or deaf children at a large age who have the same characteristics as the research subject.
