Abstract
Pendidikan kesehatan organ reproduksi merupakan hal yang sangat penting diberikan kepada anak tunagrahita ringan karena berkaitan dengan kesehatan diri dan keberlangsungan anak tunagrahita dalam menjaga organ reproduksi di kehidupan sehari-hari. Keterbatasan intelektual anak tunagrahita ringan tidak menghambat perkembangan fisik dan perkembangan seksualnya sehingga mereka tetap mengalami masa pubertas seperti remaja pada umumnya. Hasil studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan di SLB ABC YPLAB Lembang, saat ini program pendidikan kesehatan organ reproduksi untuk anak tunagrahita belum tersusun secara khusus, dan anak tunagrahita yang telah masuk usia pubertas belum mempunyai pengetahuan tentang organ reproduksi dan keterampilan membersihkan organ reproduksi yang cukup, banyak diantaranya yang belum mengetahui cara merawat organ reproduksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan program pendidikan kesehatan organ reproduksi untuk anak tunagrahita ringan di SLB ABC YPLAB Lembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak enam orang menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara,observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa saat ini pengetahuan anak mengenai organ reproduksi dan keterampilan anak dalam membersihkan organ reproduksi masih rendah dan belum tersusunnya secara khusus program pendidikan kesehatan organ reproduksi untuk anak tunagrahita disekolah. oleh karena itu, peneliti menyusun suatu program tentang pendidikan kesehatan organ reproduksi untuk anak tunagrahita ringan yang telah disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan anak. Reproductive organ health education is very important given to children with mild mental retardation because it is related to self-health and the sustainability of mentally retarded children in maintaining the reproductive organs in everyday life. The intellectual limitations of mild mentally retarded children do not hinder their physical development and sexual development so that they continue to experience puberty like teenagers in general. The results of a preliminary study conducted at SLB ABC YPLAB Lembang, currently the reproductive organ health education program for mentally retarded children has not been specifically structured, and mentally retarded children who have entered the age of puberty do not have enough knowledge about reproductive organs and reproductive organ cleaning skills, many of them who do not know how to care for the reproductive organs. The purpose of this study was to develop a reproductive organ health education program for children with mild mental retardation at SLB ABC YPLAB Lembang. This study uses a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach. Six research subjects used data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation studies. The results of the study can be concluded that currently children's knowledge about the reproductive organs and children's skills in cleaning the reproductive organs is still low and has not been structured in a special reproductive organ health education program for mentally retarded children at school. Therefore, researchers compiled a program on reproductive health education for children with mild mental retardation that has been adapted to the needs of the child.
