Abstract

ABSTRAK Rendahnya kemampuan menceritakan kembali isi cerita pada siswa disebabkan karena kuranya pemanfaatan media yang digunakan. Pada saat proses pembelajaran, guru masih belum menggunakan pendekataan yang tepat dan media yang digunakan masih memakai buku ajar dengan metode ceramah dan penugasan. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini ialah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menceritakan kembali isi cerita fiksi menggunakan media Literacycloud dengan pendekatan EMRED. Subjek penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Muara Ciujung Timur dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 22 siswa yang terdiri dari 13 perempuan dan 9 laki-laki. Metode penelitian ini ialah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu observasi, tes, dan wawancara. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh saat pra siklus pada tes kemampuan siswa dalam menceritakan kembali isi cerita fiksi ialah 57,3 dengan kategori belum mencapai KKM. Pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata 66,6 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 40,9% dan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata yang didapatkan sebesar 82,2 dengan persentase yang meningkat menjadi 86,4%. Sehingga dapat peneliti simpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Literacycloud dengan pendekatan EMRED dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menceritakan kembali isi cerita fiksi di kelas IV. ABSTRACT The low ability to retell the content of the story in students is due to the lack of utilization of the media used. During the learning process, teachers still do not use the right approach and the media used still use textbooks with lecture and assignment methods. The purpose of this research is to improve the ability to retell the contents of fictional stories using Literacycloud media with the EMRED approach. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Muara Ciujung Timur with a total of 22 students consisting of 13 female students and 9 male students. This research method is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used by researchers are observation, tests, and interviews. The average value obtained during the pre-cycle on the test of students' ability to retell the contents of fictional stories was 57.3 with the category not yet reaching the KKM. In cycle I, the average value obtained was 66.6 with a percentage of learning completeness of 40.9% and in cycle II the average value obtained was 82.2 with a percentage that increased to 86.4%. So that researchers can conclude that the use of Literacycloud media with the EMRED approach can improve the ability to retell the contents of fiction stories in class IV.
