Abstract

Pendidikan memegang peranan penting dalam mempengaruhi sikap sosial siswa. Karena kenyataan bahwa setiap siswa memiliki karakteristik fisik dan psikologis yang unik adalah tanggung jawab guru untuk menanamkan perilaku sosial pada siswa. Metode peneliti ialah deskriptif kualitatif. Studi deskriptif yang bentuk penyelidikan yang menggambarkan dan menganalisis item dalam keadaan alami mereka. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan metodologi kualitatif. Riset kualitatif merupakan suatu pendekatan yang secara gamblang menjelaskan, mencirikan, dan memahami peristiwa yang dialami oleh peserta penelitian melalui pemanfaatan bahasa dan frasa deskriptif. Pemanfaatan pembelajaran Project Based Learning pada pendidikan IPS di SD membantu pengajar dalam menanamkan perilaku sosial untuk berani berpendapat atau mengemukakan pendapat yang siswa miliki sesuai dengan keadaan sebenarnya yang siswa peroleh dari kegiatan berkelompok. Penanaman Sikap Sosial Siswa dalam Pendidikan IPS Melalui Model Project Based Learning Siswa Kelas IV di SDN 1 Sukahaji, bisa ditanamkan melalui pendidikan IPS dengan mengkaitkan materi pelajaran IPS dengan nilai-nilai yang terdapat pada sikap sosial, memberikan kalimat-kalimat positif yang mengandung nilai sikap sosial diawal pembelajaran yang dapat menumbuhkan sikap kejujuran dan toleransi pada siswa. Dengan kegiatan proyek berkelompok dalam pendidikan IPS juga menjadi salah satu cara agar siswa bisa bersosialisasi sehingga memunculkan sikap sosial saling menghargai pendapat, tidak membedakan teman, berani berkata yang sesuai dengan fakta, berani mengutarakan pendapat saat berdiskusi dengan kelompoknya. Hasil Penanaman Sikap Sosial Siswa Dalam Pendidikan IPS Melalui Model Project Based Learning Siswa Kelas IV di SDN 1 Sukahaji, sudah termasuk dalam kategori baik berdasarkan indikatornya. Peneliti cukup berhasil dalam menanamkan nilai perilaku sosial pada sikap kejujuran dan toleransi. ----- Education plays an important role in influencing students' social attitudes. Due to the fact that each student has unique physical and psychological characteristics, it is the responsibility of the teacher to instill social behavior in students. The researcher's method is descriptive qualitative. Descriptive studies are forms of inquiry that describe and analyze items in their natural state. This research utilizes qualitative methodology. Qualitative research is an approach that clearly explains, characterizes, and understands the events experienced by research participants through the use of descriptive language and phrases. The use of Project Based Learning in social studies education in elementary schools helps teachers instill social behavior to dare to argue or express opinions that students have in accordance with the actual circumstances that students get from group activities. Instilling Social Attitudes of Students in Social Studies Education Through the Project Based Learning Model of Grade IV Students at Public Elementary School 1 Sukahaji, it can be instilled through social studies education by linking social studies subject matter with the values contained in social attitudes, providing positive sentences containing social attitude values at the beginning of learning that can foster honesty and tolerance in students. With group project activities in social studies education is also one way for students to socialize so as to bring up social attitudes respecting each other's opinions, not distinguishing friends, daring to say things that are in accordance with the facts, daring to express opinions when discussing with their groups. The results of instilling students' social attitudes in social studies education through the Project Based Learning Model for Grade IV students at Public Elementary School 1 Sukahaji, are included in the good category based on the indicators. Researchers are quite successful in instilling social behavioral values in honesty and tolerance.
