Abstract

Latar belakang: pengetahuan serta kesadaran para masyarakat mengenai penyakit hipertensi dapat dikatakan masuk ke dalam kategori rendah. Karena dapat dilihat bahwasannya masyarakat cenderung lebih menyukai makanan cepat saji dimana makanan tersebut mengandung serat yang rendah, akan tetapi mengandung gula, natrium serta lemak yang tinggi. Kebiasaan itu mampu menyebabkan tekanan darah menjadi tinggi. Upaya yang mampu diimplementasikan guna menghindari risiko terjadinya hipertensi yaitu dengan mengatur atau mengubah pola gaya hidup, mengubah pola gaya hidup dapat dilakukan dengan cara melakukan diet DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension). Tujuan penelitian: untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan diet DASH pada penderita hipertensi di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Desa Licin Kecamatan Cimalaka Kabupaten Sumedang. Metode penelitian: Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel yang diambil adalah pasien penderita hipertensi di Desa Licin Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Cimalaka sebanyak 101 responden dengan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan pengisian kuesioner dengan jumlah pertanyaan sebanyak 23 pertanyaan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 12- 25 Mei 2023 di Desa Licin Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Cimalaka. Analisa yang dipakai pada penelitian ini yaitu analisa univariat dengan menggunakan tabel frekuensi. Hasil penelitian: sebagian besar dari tingkat pengetahuan responden cukup berjumlah 47 responden dengan presentase sebanyak (46,53%), responden baik berjumlah 29 responden dengan presentase sebanyak (28,71%), sebagian kecil dari responden kurang berjumlah 25 responden dengan presentase sebanyak (24,75%). Kesimpulan: tingkat pengetahuan mengenai diet DASH pada penderita hipertensi yang berada di wilayah kerja puskesmas Cimalaka Desa Licin Kabupaten Sumedang mayoritas memiliki tingkat pengetahuan cukup. Hal tersebut diperkirakan karena minimnya informasi yang diterima oleh masyarakat berkaitan diet hipertensi (DASH) tidak diperhatikan dengan begitu baik sehingga informasi tersebut sering diabaikan. Saran: diharapkan melakukan pemberian sebuah informasi berupa pengarahan secara teratur berkenaan dengan keadaan para pasien hipertensi upaya memelihara serta mengontrol tekanan darahnya di puskesmas maupun layanan kesehatan lainnya. Background: public knowledge and awareness about hypertension can be said to be in the low category. Because it can be seen that people tend to prefer fast food where the food contains low fiber, but contains high sugar, sodium and fat. This habit can cause high blood pressure. Efforts that can be implemented to avoid the risk of hypertension are by adjusting or changing lifestyle patterns, changing lifestyle patterns can be done by doing the DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) diet. The purpose of the study: to describe the knowledge of the DASH diet in hypertensive patients in the Work Area of the Licin Village Health Center, Cimalaka District, Sumedang Regency. Research method: The research method used is a quantitative descriptive research method. The samples taken were patients with hypertension in Licin Village, Working Area of Cimalaka Health Center, as many as 101 respondents using simple random sampling technique. Data collection was obtained by filling out a questionnaire with a total of 23 questions. This research was conducted on 12-25 May 2023 in the Licin Village, Working Area of the Cimalaka Health Center. The analysis used in this study is univariate analysis using frequency tables. The results of the study: most of the respondents' knowledge level was sufficient, amounting to 47 respondents with a percentage of (46.53%), good respondents amounted to 29 respondents with a percentage of (28.71%), a small portion of less respondents amounted to 25 respondents with a percentage of ( 24.75%). Conclusion: the majority of people with hypertension who are in the work area of the Cimalaka Health Center, Licin Village, Sumedang Regency, have sufficient knowledge about the DASH diet. It is estimated that this is due to the lack of information received by the public regarding the hypertension diet (DASH) which is not properly considered so that this information is often ignored. Suggestion: it is expected to provide information in the form of regular briefings regarding the condition of hypertensive patients in an effort to maintain and control their blood pressure at the puskesmas or other health services.
