Abstract

Transportasi memiliki banyak manfaat yang dapat dirasakan salah satunya adalah sarana penghubung manusia ke berbagai tempat yang diinginkan dengan angkutan kota. Kota Depok merupakan salah satu kota metropolitan yang banyak di lalui masyarakat dengan berbagai aktifitas yang ada didalamnya. Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah terbatasnya informasi mengenai angkutan kota yang dapat mengakomodasi kebutuhan mobilitas penduduknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sebuah sistem informasi pelacakan angkutan kota berbasis android dengan GPS untuk Kota Depok, lalu menganalisis penerapan pelacakan dalam menghasilkan akurasi dan waktu respon lokasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah research and development dengan tahapan seperti perencanaan, pengembangan, evaluasi, dan implementasi dengan pengujian menggunakan metode black box testing dan usability testing untuk memverifikasi dan validasi kualitas perangkat lunak yang dibangun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berhasil dikembangkan ke dalam dua aplikasi berbeda dan satu database yang terkoneksi satu sama lain menggunakan Google Firebase. Kemudian hasil pengujian menggunakan black box, usability menggunakan metode use questionnaire, dan pengukuran akurasi dan waktu responsi lokasi menunjukan bahwa secara keseluruhan berhasil memenuhi setiap skenario dari test case yang telah dibuat, kemudian aplikasi dikategorikan sangat layak dengan persentase 85,70%, serta menghasilkan akurasi dan waktu respon yang tergolong cepat dan berubah sesuai dengan keadaan di lapangan. Secara umum sistem informasi pelacakan angkutan kota menggunakan GPS berbasis android berhasil dikembangkan dengan melalui berbagai pengujian yang dilakukan. ------------ Transportation has many benefits that can be felt, one of which is a means of connecting people to various places they want with city transportation. Depok City is one of the metropolitan cities that many people go through various activities in. One of the problems faced is the limited information regarding public transportation that can accommodate the mobility needs of its population. This study aims to design and implement an android-based urban transport tracking information system with the GPS for Depok City, then analyze the application of tracking in producing accuracy and location response time. The research method used in this study is research and development with stages such as planning, development, evaluation, and implementation by testing using the black box testing and usability testing methods to verify and validate the quality of the software built. The results showed that it was successfully developed into two different applications and one database that were connected to each other using Google Firebase. Then the results of testing using a black box, usability using the use questionnaire method, and measuring accuracy and location response time show that overall it succeeds in fulfilling each scenario of the test cases that have been made, then the application is categorized as very feasible with a percentage of 85.70%, and produces accuracy and the response time is relatively fast and changes according to the conditions in the field.
