Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan terbatasnya media pembelajaran buku cerita bergambar yang dapat digunakan di satuan Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini pada anak usia 4-5 tahun. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan menyimak anak usia dini yaitu anak usia 4-5 tahun dengan mengembangkan buku cerita bergambar. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Educational Design Research (EDR) model generik Mc. Kenney dan Reeves, yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu: 1) Tahap Analisis dan Eksplorasi (Analiysis dan Exploration) 2) Tahap Desain dan Konstruksi (Desgin and Construction) 3) Tahap Evaluasi dan Refleksi (Evaluation dan Reflection) dan 4) Tahap Kelayakan. Penelitian ini melibatkan anak-anak usia 4-5 tahun dan guru di RA Nurul Hikmah. Selain itu, teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah observasi, wawancara, penyebaran lembar angket dan validasi ahli. Sesudah melalui beberapa revisi dari saran validator selanjutnya dilakukan uji coba produk. Uji coba produk dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali di RA Nurul Hikmah. Hasil akhir dari penelitian adalah diperoleh informasi mengenai kebutuhan dasar buku cerita bergambar bagi anak yang dapat memfasilitasi kemampuan menyimak anak usia dini yaitu usia 4-5 tahun, serta hasil analisis dari data uji coba produk media buku cerita bergambar untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan menyimak yaitu anak usia 4-5 tahun ini telah berhasil di kembangkan serta layak digunakan dalam satuan pembelajaran Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. This research is motivated by the limited learning media for picture story books that can be used in the Early Childhood Education unit for children aged 4-5 years. The purpose of this research is to facilitate the listening skills of early childhood, namely children aged 4-5 years by developing picture story books. The research design used was the Educational Design Research (EDR) generic Mc model. Kenney and Reeves, which consists of four stages, namely: 1) Analysis and Exploration Stage (Analysis and Exploration) 2) Design and Construction Stage (Desgin and Construction) 3) Evaluation and Reflection Stage (Evaluation and Reflection) and 4) Feasibility Stage. This research involved children aged 4-5 years and teachers at RA Nurul Hikmah. In addition, the data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, distribution of questionnaires and expert validation. After going through several revisions of the validator's suggestions, a product trial was then carried out. Product trials were carried out 2 times at RA Nurul Hikmah. The final result of the research is to obtain information about the basic needs of picture story books for children which can facilitate listening skills in early childhood, namely 4-5 years old, as well as the results of the analysis of trial data for picture story book media products to facilitate listening skills, namely children aged 4 year -5 this year has been successfully developed and suitable for use in early childhood education learning units.
