Abstract

Penelitian ini bertolak dari pentingnya penempatan pegawai bagi suatu organisasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran dan pengaruh penempatan pegawai terhadap kinerja pegawai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, dengan partisipan sebanyak 55 responden. Analisis perhitungan menggunakan Microsoft Excel 2010 dan aplikasi IBM SPSS 25.0 for Windows. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dengan menggunakan Teknik Weight Mean Score (WMS) menunjukkan rata-rata kecenderungan umum untuk variabel penempatan pegawai sebesar 3,36 berada pada kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan variabel kinerja pegawai sebesar 3,37 berada pada kategori sangat baik. Hasil perhitungan uji normalitas dan uji linieritas menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel berdistribusi normal dan memiliki hubungan yang linier. Hasil analisis koefisien korelasi antara penempatan pegawai dengan kinerja pegawai memiliki hubungan kuat dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,735. Hasil uji signifikansi korelasi dengan uji-t memperoleh 7,900 > 1,674 yang artinya terdapat hubungan signifikan antara variabel X dan variabel Y. Besarnya pengaruh penempatan pegawai terhadap kinerja pegawai dari hasil uji determinasi sebesar 55,1%, sedangkan 44,9% menunjukkan bahwa kinerja pegawai dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain seperti kemampuan kerja dan motivasi kerja. Adapun persamaan regresi dari kedua variabel yaitu Y= 12,462 + 0,752 X yang artinya bahwa setiap penambahan satu poin penempatan pegawai, maka akan meningkat pula kinerja pegawai sebesar 0,752. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara Penempatan Pegawai terhadap Kinerja Pegawai di Pusat Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Aparatur Kementerian ESDM. This research departs from the importance of employee placement for an organization. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the description and influence of employee placement on employee performance. The research method used is descriptive research method with a quantitative approach and data collection techniques using a questionnaire, with 55 respondents as participants. Calculation analysis using Microsoft Excel 2010 and IBM SPSS 25.0 for Windows application. Based on the results of data processing using the Weight Mean Score (WMS) technique, it shows that the average general tendency for the employee placement variable is 3.36 which is in the very good category. While the employee performance variable of 3.37 is in the very good category. The results of the calculation of the normality test and the linearity test show that the two variables are normally distributed and have a linear relationship. The results of the correlation coefficient analysis between employee placement and employee performance have a strong relationship with a correlation coefficient value of 0.735. The results of the correlation significance test with the t-test obtained 7.900 > 1.674, which means that there is a significant relationship between variables X and variable Y. The magnitude of the influence of employee placement on employee performance from the results of the determination test is 55.1%, while 44.9% indicates that employee performance influenced by other factors such as work ability and work motivation. The regression equation of the two variables is Y= 12.462 + 0.752 X, which means that for each additional point of placement of employees, the employee's performance will also increase by 0.752. The conclusion from this study is that there is a positive and significant influence between Employee Placement on Employee Performance at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Apparatus Development Center.
