    Abstract

    Students with hearing impairments tend to overshare privacy data on social media, making them susceptible to becoming victims or perpetrators of online gender-based violence. The purpose of this research is to determine the knowledge level about online gender-based violence and its preventive measures among students with hearing impairments at SMALB SLBN Cicendo. This study utilizes a quantitative descriptive method on students with hearing impairments SMALB SLBN Cicendo. The research results regarding the knowledge level about online gender-based violence and knowledge level of its prevention among students with hearing impairments at SMALB Cicendo can be summarized as follows: In terms of knowledge about the concept of online gender-based violence, 36% of students are categorized as having low knowledge, while 65% are categorized as having sufficient knowledge. Regarding knowledge about the impact of online gender-based violence, 21% have low knowledge, 43% have sufficient knowledge, and 35% have good knowledge. In terms of knowledge about preventive measures for online gender-based violence, 21% have low knowledge, 29% have sufficient knowledge, and 50% have good knowledge. Students with hearing impairments still lack understanding of the concept of online gender-based violence. Therefore, a program is needed to enhance their knowledge level, starting with a learning program about the concept of online gender-based violence SMALB SLBN Cicendo.
