Abstract

Moderasi beragama lahir sebagai sebuah konsep yang dicanangkan oleh Kementerian Agama RI guna menangkal ekstrimisme dan penyimpangan dalam pengamalan agama. Moderasi beragama masuk dalam dunia pendidikan dalam bentuk nilai-nilai yang ditanamkan pada peserta didik. Nilai-nilai tersebut meliputi: a) komitmen kebangsaan; b) toleransi; c) anti-kekerasan; dan d) akomodatif terhadap budaya lokal. Penelitian ini dilakukan guna menganalisis keberadaan nilai-nilai tersebut di SDIT Cendekia. Penelitian ini juga mengkaji bagaimana proses, faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta dampak yang ditimbulkan dari pengimplementasian nilai-nilai moderasi beragma di SDIT Cendekia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Data-data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi yang kemudian data-data tersebut di reduksi, disajikan, hingga disimpulkan berdasarkan kaidah-kaidah ilmiah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai moderasi beragama di SDIT Cendekia telah terimplementasi dengan baik melalui pembiasaan-pembiasaan rutin yang dilakukan sekolah sehingga melalui pembiasaan tersebut dapat membentuk karakter peserta didik yang toleran dan dapat menghargai perbedaan-perbedaan yang ada. ----- Moderation in religion was introduced as a concept by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs with the aim of countering extremism and deviations in religious practices. This concept has been integrated into the education system through the imparting of certain values to students. These values encompass aspects such as patriotic commitment, tolerance, non-violence, and embracing local cultural diversity. The present study was conducted to examine the presence and implementation of these moderation values at SDIT Cendekia, an Islamic elementary school. Additionally, the research investigates the processes involved, the supporting and hindering factors, as well as the overall impact resulting from the integration of religious moderation values at SDIT Cendekia. Employing a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentary research. The findings demonstrate that religious moderation values have been effectively assimilated into SDIT Cendekia's routine practices, contributing to the development of students' character, fostering tolerance, and promoting respect for diversity."
