Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pilihan karier siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan. Alasan dilaksanakan penelitian adalah siswa SMK sering mengalami kebingungan untuk memutuskan pilihan karier masa depan. karena kurangnya pengetahuan tentang persiapan memasuki dunia kerja dan berwirausaha, kurangnya pengetahuan tentang jurusan yang akan diambil dan bagaimana memilih perguruan tinggi dengan tepat. Pendekatan penelitian adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 417 siswa SMK Pertanian. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Temuan penelitian diperoleh sumber informasi karier yang dominan bersumber dari internet, jenis informasi terbanyak dipilih adalah pekerjaan sesuai bidang kompetensi keahlian, faktor internal paling dominan yaitu nilai-nilai kehidupan. faktor eksternal yaitu prestasi akademik. The research aimed to analyze the factors that influence the career choice of vocational high school students. The reason for this research was SMK students often experience confusion about choosing career for they future. this is due to a lack of knowledge about preparation for entering the world of work and entrepreneurship. The students who want to go to college lack knowledge about the majors to be taken and how to choose the best college. The research approach was quantitative descriptive. The research subjects were conducted on 417 students of Agriculture Vocational School. Data analysis used descriptive quantitative analysis techniques. Research findings Obtained the dominant of information sources is from the internet, the type of information with the highest percentage chosen is work according to the field of competence expertise, the most dominant internal factors are life values, external factors namely academic achievement.
