Abstract
PEnelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Ukuran Perusahaan dan Aktivitas yang diukur dengan TATO terhadap Profitabilitas yang diukur dengan ROA pada subsektor otomotif dan komponennya yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2016-2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data sekunder yang bersumber dari laporan keuangan perusahaan dan laporan statistik. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 13 perusahaan subsektor otomotif dan komponennya yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2016-2020. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 13 perusahaan dengan teknik non-probability sampling. Teknik analisa yang digunakan adalah (1) Analisis asumsi klasik menggunakan Uji Linearitas, Uji Multikolinearitas, Uji Heteroskedastisitas, dan Uji Autokorelasi. (2) Analisis data panel dengan model regresi Common Effect Model (CEM) berdasarkan Uji Lagrange Multiplier. Dan teknik analisa terakhir adalah (3) Uji Hipotesis melalui Uji Keberartian Regresi (Uji F) dan Uji Keberartian Koefisien Regresi (Uji t). Dalam penelitian ini, pengolahan data menggunakan aplikasi Eviews 12. Berdasarkan hasil uji F dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Ukuran Perusahaan dan Aktivitas berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap Profitabilitas. Berdasarkan uji t, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Ukuran Perusahaan berpengaruh negatif terhadap Profitabilitas (ROA) dan Aktivitas (TATO) berpengaruh positif terhadap Profitabilitas (ROA). Kata Kunci : Ukuran Perusahaan, Aktivitas, Profitabilitas, Total Asset Turnover, dan Return On Assets. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Company Size and Activities measured by TATO on Profitability as measured by ROA in the automotive subsector and its components listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. This study used descriptive and verifiable methods. The data used in this study are secondary data sourced from the company's financial statements and statistical reports. The research population amounted to 13 automotive subsector companies and their components listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. The samples taken were 13 companies with non-probability sampling techniques. The analytical techniques used are (1) Analysis of classical assumptions using Linearity Test, Multicholinearity Test, Heteroskedasticity Test, and Autocorrelation Test. (2) Panel data analysis with a Common Effect Model (CEM) regression model based on the Lagrange Multiplier Test. And the last analysis technique is (3) Hypothesis Test through Regression Significance Test (F Test) and Regression Coefficient Significance Test (t Test). In this study, data processing used the Eviews 12 application. Based on the results of the F test in this study, it shows that Company Size and Activity have a simultaneous effect on Profitability. Based on the t-test, the results of this study show that Company Size negatively affects Profitability (ROA) and Activity (TATO) has a positive effect on Profitability (ROA).
