Abstract
Proses pembelajaran kesenian sangat dituntut aktivitas kreatif yang diharapkan dapat menghasilkan karya seni kreasi siswa. Proses pembelajaran kesenian selama ini belum dapat secara optimal menumbuhkan kreativitas siswa dalam berkreasi menciptakan sebuah karya seni yang tumbuh dari proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perbaikan pada proses pembelajaran seni tari pada materi tari Nusantara yang dilaksanakan pada kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Kota Sukabumi dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Metode pembelajaran ini dengan sistematis melibatkan para siswa dalam meningkatkan kreativitas melalui proses pembelajaran terstruktur yang terfokus pada tugas tertentu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah action research dengan pendekatan kualitatif, metode ini diyakini dapat memberikan data yang jelas dalam menguji sebuah treatment pada objek penelitian, hal ini akan tergambar dengan adanya perubahan prilaku dan keterampilan siswa dalam proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Pada proses pembelajaran siswa dibagi menjadi tujuh kelompok yang masing-masing terfokus pada satu jenis tarian Nusantara sesuai dengan pilihan kelompok. Langkah-langkah pembelajaran yang dilakukan peneliti diawali dengan memaparkan tari tradisional Nusantara sebagai tahap apresiasi terhadap seni tari, tahap kedua siswa mendeskripsikan dan memaparkan hasil apresiasinya, tahap ketiga siswa berkreasi mengembangkan materi yang sudah dipelajari menjadi bentuk baru hasil kreativitas peserta didik dengan tidak menghilangkan kekhasan tariannya. Tahap keempat merupakan tahap mendemontrasikan penampilan hasil tari kreasi siswa dan tahap kelima siswa mempresentasikan hasil kreasi kelompok dalam diskusi kelas. Siswa dapat menyelesaikan tugas proyek dengan baik secara berkelompok dengan menciptakan berbagai macam bentuk tarian melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pelaporan dalam bentuk tampilan kreasi karya tari. Siswa dengan potensi yang mereka miliki dan dukungan media yang ada dapat berkolaborasi dalam kelompok secara kreatif dalam menciptakan dan menampilkan karya kreasi tari mereka. Kata kunci: Project Based Learning, Seni Tari, Kreativitas ------ The art learning process is highly demanded that creative activity is expected to result in the creation of student artwork. The process of art learning has not been able to optimally students' creativity in creating a work of art that grew out of the learning process. This study aims to lead to improvements in the process of learning of dance art in dance material conducted in class X SMA Negeri 1 Kota Sukabumi using project based learning methods. This learning method to systematically engage students in enhancing creativity through a structured learning process that is focused on a specific task. The method used in this study is action research with a qualitative approach, this method is believed to provide clear data to test a treatment on the research object, this will be reflected by a change in behavior and skills of students in implementation of the learning process. In the learning process the students were divided into seven groups , each focused on one type of traditional dance in accordance with the preferred group. Learning steps are performed researcher begins by describing the traditional dance as the appreciation of the dance stage, the second stage students to describe and explain the results of their appreciation, the third stage students develop creative material they have learned into a new form of creativity of learners by not eliminating the peculiarities of the dance. The fourth stage is demonstrate students’ dance creation in class performing dance art, the fifth stage is the student groups present their creations in class discussion. Students can complete the task as a group project by creating various forms of dance through the phases of planning, implementation and reporting in the form of a dance display creations. Students with their potential and existing media support can creatively collaborate in groups to create and display their dance creations. Keywords: Project Based Learning , Dance , Creativity
