Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah bahan ajar hukum laju reaksi berbasis intertekstual sebagai prototype buku teks yang memenuhi kriteria aspek isi, penyajian, bahasa, dan kegrafikaan berdasarkan standar kelayakan buku teks pelajaran oleh Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan atau BSNP (2014) serta memiliki tingkat keterbacaan yang tinggi dan sesuai untuk siswa SMA/MA kelas 11. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode Research and Development (R&D) atau Penelitian dan Pengembangan yang meliputi tiga tahapan. Tahap pertama dinamakan preliminary research yang bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan informasi dan analisis kebutuhan, meliputi pengkajian literatur, analisis KI dan KD untuk materi hukum laju reaksi pada kurikulum 2013, analisis miskonsepsi pada materi hukum laju reaksi, survei buku Kimia SMA yang digunakan di Kota Bandung, dan analisis terhadap tiga buku SMA terbanyak digunakan berdasarkan survei tersebut. Tahap kedua dinamakan development or prototyping phase yang bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan produk, meliputi perumusan indikator dan konsep materi hukum laju reaksi, identifikasi multipel representasi konsep pada textbook Kimia Dasar, perumusan level representasi konsep, pembuatan outline, penyusunan bahan ajar hukum laju reaksi berbasis intertekstual sebagai prototype buku teks, dan uji kelayakan prototype buku teks pada aspek isi, penyajian, bahasa, dan kegrafikaan oleh para ahli, serta uji grafik Fry untuk menilai kesesuaian prototype buku yang dikembangkan dengan kelas tingkat pendidikan target pembaca sebagai salah satu aspek kelayakan bahasa. Tahap ketiga dinamakan assessment phase yang bertujuan untuk menilai efektivitas produk dan menghasilkan rekomendasi untuk perbaikan produk, meliputi pengujian tingkat keterbacaan prototype buku teks dengan uji teks rumpang, analisis, pembahasan, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar hukum laju reaksi berbasis intertekstual sebagai prototype buku teks yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria kelayakan pada aspek isi (90%), penyajian materi (96%), bahasa (100%), dan kegrafikaan (72%) dengan tingkat keterbacaan tinggi yaitu sebesar 78,59% serta sesuai untuk siswa SMA/MA kelas 11. Kata kunci: Bahan Ajar, Prototype Buku Teks, Intertekstual, Level Makroskopik, Level Submikroskopik, Level Simbolik, Hukum Laju Reaksi This research aimed to develop intertextual-based learning material for the rate law topic as a chemistry textbook prototype that meets the eligibility criteria for content, presentation, language, and graphical aspects standard by BSNP (2014) and has an appropriate level of readability for 11th-grade high school students. The research was conducted using the Research and Development (R&D) method that includes three stages. The first stage is preliminary research to collect information and needs analysis. The steps are literature review, KI and KD analysis for the rate law topic in the 2013 curriculum, misconceptions analysis on the rate law topic, survey of high school Chemistry books used in Bandung, and analysis of the three most used high school Chemistry books based on survey. The second stage is the development or prototyping phase, which aims to design and develop the product. The steps are the formulation of indicators and the concept of the rate law topic, multiple representations identifications of the rate law concepts in General Chemistry textbooks, formulation of concept representation levels, outline framing, making the intertextual-based rate law textbook prototype, and conducting a feasibility test for the rate law textbook prototype on content, presentation, language, and graphics aspects by experts, as well as a fry chart test to assess the suitability of the textbook prototype developed with the target reader's educational level class as one aspect of language feasibility. The third stage is called the assessment phase, which aims to assess the product effectiveness and obtain recommendations for product improvement, including testing the readability level of the textbook prototype with a cloze procedure test, analyzing, discussing, and concluding. The results showed that the intertextual-based rate law learning material as a Chemistry textbook prototype developed met the eligibility criteria in the aspects of content (90%), presentation (96%), language (100%), and graphics (72%) with a high readability level of 78.59% and suitable for high school students in grade 11.
