Abstract
ABSTRAK Ricco Jefryargo Ardi Laksana (1506689). ABRI Masuk Desa (AMD) Wilayah Kodam III Siliwangi: Program Pembangunan Desa Masa Orde Baru (1980-1998). Skripsi. Departemen Pendidikan Sejarah. Fakultas Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (2021). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan program ABRI Masuk Desa (AMD) mulai dari awal pembentukan hingga menjelang berakhirnya sistem Orde Baru tahun 1980-1998. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode historis, dengan empat langkah penting yakni heuristik, kritik, interprestasi, dan historiografi. Sumber penelitian dikumpulkan dari beberapa sumber, di antaranya Perpustakaan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), Perpustakaan Batoe Api Jatinangor, Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia, Perpustakaan Pusat Dinas Sejarah Angkatan Darat (Disjarahad), dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Indramayu. Penelitian ini menghasilkan: 1) program AMD dilatarbelakangi oleh faktor internal yang berasal dari kondisi sosial politik dalam negeri dampak peristiwa G30S 1965, dan faktor eksternal yaitu berkembangnya paham komunisme di dunia; 2) program AMD cukup berhasil dilaksanakan sehingga saat ini terdapat program pembangunan yang berkelanjutan dengan tema yang sama bernama Tentara Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD); 3) program AMD memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat seperti memupuk kembali semangat gotong royong dan rasa kepercayaan rakyat terhadap ABRI. This study aims to determine the development of the ABRI Entering Village (AMD) program from the beginning until the end of the New Order system in 1980-1998. This study uses a historical research method, with four important steps, namely heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The research sources were collected from several sources, including the Library of the Indonesian Education University (UPI), the Batoe Api Jatinangor Library, the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia, the Central Library of the Army History Service, and the Indramayu Regency Library. The results of of this study: 1) the AMD program was motivated by internal factors namely domestic socio-political conditions as a result of the 1965 G30S incident, and external factors namely the development of communism ideology in the world; 2) the AMD program has been implemented successfully so that there is a currently sustainable development program with the same theme called the Manunggal Army to Build Villages (TMMD); 3) the AMD program has had a positive impact on the community, such as reviving the spirit of mutual cooperation and the community's sense of trust in ABRI.
